Then my issue is with the "unmentioned" part. Surely a sentence like "Capable of volley fire." in the component description would have not overburdened the game.

The issue with beam volley is not only still there, but is worse. The functionality itself is gone. Is this considered a bug or an unmentioned property of the laser matrix versus the helios rockets?
Hi, So, it is not only the Precursor Particle Beam, but also the precursor engine. Once any ship is built with it, it goes away (I think queued ships will remain). Available: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1UckftxgTiRDKFJNUhZ6MH7XHcUIAlwId/view?usp=drive_link Gone: https://drive.goog
Hi, The save game screen shows the category (tutorial, campaign) in the listed file names. However, it also automatically adds this, so if I just click on an existing name from the list it will just generate a new file, like Tutorial_Tutorial_Tutorial ... . I assume this is a bug. Thanks,
Hi, Same here. I do not know when they disappeared, whether next turn or upon a save, but you can check ship Y.S.S. BPU-BPM M14-1. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TT4CoRUvKwvA0I-nd_R9LATvuZdqS4sH/view?usp=drive_link Thanks
I also do not like it. Planetary tiles are so big (like North America being two tiles) that the adjacency effect feels unrealistic and how broken up the tiles are in fact overwrites the quality of the planet.
How can the frequency of precursor planets and anomalies be set for a new game?
My wishlist: A decision on focus technologies. Either they should be race specific, not tradeable OR it should be possible to research one even if you buy two others before OR at the very least the diplomacy trade should show the exact consequences. The descriptions, especially for fleet support modules, should be much better (eg when is it better to add a field generator instead of a jammer?). Even for the AI designs descriptions, that have no effect, inconsistency is perceiv
Sorry, I forgot to thank you for the help, so thanks. It really helped to close that game.
Well, apart from the diplomacy screen not really working, there has been no crash to desktop. Strange, I cannot recall since the dos config.sys the need to manually set memory. I opened ticket #RFU-594-40276 on the 2nd of December, no feedback yet. Edit: One of the points on that page is not to set the memory manually. :-)
So the issue is with my computer then. I set to 24000, now I got stuck in diplomacy after clicking on (to get) declare war on http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198031670267/screenshots/
Setting the swap manually to 5622 MB and updating the video driver had no effect.

On insane map, started with 1.4 after around 400 turns there is a crash to desktop (Win 8.1) around every fourth turn. Is it just my computer or is it general experience?
Emm, how many clicks does it take to find which rally point the ships are sent to from a given shipyard?
BTW, will the focus also disappear or cause coercion?
Permanent coercion? So people are not relocating or adapting. The large empire penalty is weak. Especially a new colony starting with negative morale is very unnatural. As long as you do not instruct them to build up the colony it will be better so I am in.
Hi, Does anyone know a way to de-obsolete ships or view obsolete designs (and copy and still use in the same game)? Thanks.
Hi, My survey ships (early game, so quite expensive) tend to race with each other for the very same anomaly. The same seems to happen with auto explore, I wandered why I had half of the reachable area still unmapped only to find six or seven of my auto exploring ships banding together. Is there a known solution (without micromanaging) to this? Thanks,
I agree. The descriptions of Thulium and Durantium were not updated, I cannot find this change in the changelog and I do not feel that the frequency of the resources was adjusted.
Shipyards should show the currently set rally point, if not on other screens at least on the rally point screen. The rally location map of shipyards is not intuitive, I assume it is possible to select a target on this map, but I have not yet figured out how. Consider exempting the minor civs from 'Enticing' - unless it was the goal to allow peacefull destruction. Pirate shipyards should have only one life. Consider showing during diplomatic trades
[e digicons]:annoyed:[/e] What is done is done. But this was very poorly done.
How can I direct manufacturing between civilian and military production? Removing the planet level slider was not clearly mentioned in the changelog.
