I updated the link to the test build because I fixed the bug where you couldn't rebuild anti-matter power plants.

The Plague event causes you to lose population rapidly. This is the one that Brad mad the Yor immune to. The Disease event makes you not get any effect from your abilities. I've already changed it to make the Yor immune. I would hardly call this a show stopper though. Just turn off the Mega events.
for the next update (after 2a): + Fixed bug where Yor were not made immune to the Disease Mega Event where none of your abilities have any effect.

Changes in Beta 2A: We crammed a lot of work into one week. No word yet on the NVidia 8600 issue on Vista yet, but I haven't been getting any bug reports from you guys either so maybe it's not terribly widespread. + NEW: Implemented “Automate” button for survey ships in ship context window + NEW: Yo

But most of the black backgrounds in the Foreign Relations screen (F5) are washed out. I haven't noticed this with any of the other black objects/screens in the game. This is a Terran/Medium map/Everything abundant/Tough game in TA 1.8c beta 1a under Vista Ultimate (x86) using an NVIDIA 7600GT graphics card. + DL mega event replaces inhabited sys
Multiplay already works using cheat codes but only on the same machine. Nothing more needs to be said.
Also, it's not real multiplayer. It's just a cheat key to let you take control of an AI player. There's no infrastructure at all for playing true hotseat mode in the game, and after awhile of switching between multiple players you can start getting odd results.
Actually it is the fine tuning that takes all the time... so Stardock could release a 'no frills' multiplayer similarly to the map editor they released for Galciv1 without too much effort... simply enable one or more of those already existing human players to connect from another machine. Any problems or bugs, who cares, its 'no frills'.
This is so wrong that I'm having trouble forming coherent sentences to refute it. I have stated repeatedly and gone into d
So what do you guys who've tried this think? Any showstoppers left?
It's missing the alien's tech tree. This problem won't happen in the next update.
