And thank you for that comment about the WBs Mike. Coming from you - one of the skinners who's skins I use as reference models for my own - it is praise indeed.

Cerebro if you want to add the HTML, you can use this on your web page: ...which will add the button directly from my server. (When someone clicks on the button image

You should use Targa format files if you can. If you can't use targa, you could try just using a section of the xp start menu bottom bar image behind the icons, and don't use the magic pink at all (I used to do that all the time.) What I do nowadays is: 1) for the 'logoff buttons' section in SkinStudio, create a tga image which has the 'symbol' part of the button - i.e. the circle with the dash inside etc. (Note that if you use a 'log

Well, finally updated the look of my website, which actually is rather less 'skins'-like than the previous version. The site now looks lighter and doesn't use frames any more (though I'm not sure why people criticise frames so much...). The content is the mostly the same, and - as usual - the galleries are a bit behind my posts here on WinCusto. I'll be updating them with my recent stuff next. I hope there aren't any technical goofs there, b

Hey - how did this get here? Ah... "new releases". Thanks for picking it out Brad. I can understand that it might seem strange that it appears in the forums (fora?) as well as in the general "new skins" areas of the site. I think that the concern Cygnus was trying to make was just that you might end up with some self-promotion stuff going on in there along the lines of "hey look at the great new skin wot I designed - why not download

Well done Cordelia for a continuingly entertaining series of noob tuts (or "new chaps and ladies instructional documents for the computer thingy", for those of us unused to this newfangled lingo). (hmm... is 'continuingly' a real word?..)

This is a great series of tutorials and a good encouragement for non-icon people (like me) to get on and do some icons. I'm looking forward to the more difficult ones (like my computer and the drive icons).

Ooh. Aaah. (is that ok?) Sexilicious skin and site there fellas. I like the way your balls rotate. It will probably be February before my site is updated, but I'm already working on it!

Ok - thanks for that info everyone. I'm glad I didn't uninstall PS7. Looks like I'll be going back to that for my TGAs. And quite right Scarebear - I STILL don't use SS. Sorreee! I know, I am just a naughty boy. Obviously I might start using it if that's the only way to make transparent TGAs - unless the WB developers might like to add PNG support to WindowBlinds? In fact, while we're on the subject, has anyone a good reason to swap to CS from

Hmm - I'm confused. Saving my psd file from PS7 in 32bit TGA format results in an image of buttons with transparency. Doing exactly the same thing, using the same psd file from CS results in buttons with a white background. I'm not doing anything to the alpha channel at all.

peek or peak? peek = look at something quickly in a furtive, trilby and overcoat, victorias secrets kind of manner peak = top of a mountain, or the highest something has reached, or the level of my physical fitness about ten years ago. (what? what? just trying to be pedantic...)

Aw... thanks brncofan7. Kind words. (And actually, the none of my other skin backs have sold over 100 yet - people just don't like to pay, even if it's only $5, and the commission paid to handle the payments
