The game speed is just fine and you can expand quickly as is. Anyone who says this game is too slow has no patience, to be honest. You can easily get a few points within 5 minutes and have an economy going.
The game went from something that kept my mind engaged to a muckfest where nothing moves like it has for a year. The game is now tailored for the lowest common denominator. There was noth

It happens fairly often to me. Seems to be tied to where I click when I give the move order. Clicking on or too close to another unit or structure does exactly what you are saying. For those of us who want 10,000 units on the board, that happens a lot.

Alright, I have narrow this problem down to rally points through trial and error. If I don't use rally points the game will play through to the end...
Giving another order to an engineer doesn't cancel the last order anymore. That left awhile ago. I have to select the unit, hit stop, then give the new order to change anything...
I can max out metal production and stop all building and existing builds won't resume. New builds work normally. Changing locations of any engineers does not have any effect either. Just set a record at 18 minutes before the crash...
With the new update a few problems have popped up that weren't a concern for me before: 1) The unit command keys (keyboard) have quit functioning. Go, attack, meta, etc do not work at all until... 2) About 5 minutes into the game the command keys start to work, but all production comes to a screeching halt. not sure about anything farther than 5 minutes in because it is unplayable at that point. Note that this is all on the Proxima map, an
I lose patience with the argument that it didn't work before, it won't work now. Ashes might be of the same genre as the games people keep comparing it to, but it is a new game with technology that we have never seen before. It was stated right in the opening post here that they wanted a pile of user defined maps for the map rotation, so who are we to say they can't get it done because this other game couldn't do it? If I wanted to play Sins or Gala
With the opening of the Map Editor, and the goal of having enough maps that the same one rarely shows up regularly, the black maps make sense. Most people will be at the same disadvantage figuring out which map they are on or exploring a new map entirely. As for those people who have memorized every map, every game has those and they are just someone you have to learn to deal with. A massive number of user designed and tested maps will make for "infinite" worlds to f
Haven't had a single crash yet so the game has already exceeded my expectations. I am having an issue getting things that I see in other posts to work like view angle. Probably a local issue but without a command list I don't have a starting point to test some of these. The adjust option button in the pause menu is not available to me while in game. Air units are tough to control, especially the air to air unit. Had an issue where I was able to
