I think Brad answered the multiple use question quite nicely. Like him, I have GalCiv installed on multiple PCs at home, of different specs, with no problems. :D One point that Brad made in another thread was that the cost of the software is so small that its not worth wasteing time trying to find a pirated copy, and getting it working, as opposed to just buying it. That may be a valid argument for those in the US, but I have to say that it does not sit so well for those of us using oth

In my current game, although they have been referred to in previous games to a lesser extent, nearly every major and minor race is at war, and being beaten by the 'Belua'. I know this as I have a constant line of Diplomatic requests from almost every other player asking for help. The Belua do not show up as a minor race either through the Dipolmatic screen or by looking at each star on the map. So, who or what are they?

Probably nothing at all. The disadvantage of the warez copy will show up when naughty player tries to download updates from Stardock.net they will not be able to correctly identify themselves and thus get the serial # blocked. Correctly me if I'm wrong Brad.

Well, I have to say that I am disappointed that the Gamma is at hand, but I have not made it into the team to test it (:( - and nothing was said either. However, I am pleased to have been involved with the Beta and am very much looking forward to the V1.0 of the released product - can't wait :D I think my anticapation is greater because I've played the Beta, than it would be just finding the game after release.

Just been to the MoO3 boards. It seems that a chap in Germany has his copy of the game and has also found in the MoO3 box - a card advertising GalCiv :CONGRAT: That can only be good for GalCiv, especially if MoO3 is less than what peoples expectations are LOL

I'm sure this has been clarified elsewhere... I have both Drengin Game Manager and Stardock Central installed. DGM states that I have GalCiv 0.9.033 Beta installed, including Multimedia 0.9.033 Beta. SDC states that GalCiv 0.9.017 is installed and 1.0[rc].047 is available for update, and that Multimedia 1.0.004 is available to Install - all 366MB of it. :sniff!: What the difference and which is the newest build? Which program should I be using - I have been

Alot of the perception seems to be also related to the level of your diplimatic skills - as per what midnight states. Even if your military is strong, if your diplomacy sux, then the AI thinks that they can push you around. Research a several Diplomacy projects and you'll find a complete change in AI attitude - well I did anyway.

Have found that this situation is not only affecting constructors, but all ships. Had exactly the same situation as Ted above but with Battleships - being sent to guard starbases. I lost the starbase that the Battleship that had no moves left had been allocated >:(
