Yes they already know about it. Last I heard they’re working on it.
Thank you for your quick response. [e digicons][/e] Really hope it's a quick & easy fix.
As title says, custom font type & size for taskbar tray no longer work after Windows 1903 update. Same problem on my laptop and stationary, so pretty sure the problem is for most of us who have updated.
Thank you, Vampothika! I have bought a few of them, but realize now I have missed some of your best work. Very, very impressive work all of them!
I have moved Vampothika's skins from the protected section back into the public areas so they are all available for download now. Enjoy!
No, not all.
I don't know...maybe a mod can help? I don't have any of the files anymore...
I do not wonder why so few people visit this site on a regular basis, when easily fixed matters like this aren't dealt with. Anyone running a serious business would jump at an opportunity like this to attract new customers, but I guess frogboy & co. lurking in the shadows, has more urgent matters to attend to.
I agree with you Dave, WC needs a complete rework.
The last update was nearly 10 years ago and optimized for 1024 resolution & the thumbnails on the front page are 100x75 pixels or something and tell me nothing of interest without following the links. I bet new visitors are outta here faster than you can say "icon".
I've been using FreeFileSync for more than a year now, and is very pleased with the program. Very easy to use too.
Imo, there are no forums vs. social media. The two are very, very different communication channels. If you think not, you haven't taken time to learn how to use them effectively according to your needs & preference.
Shouldn't a site dedicated to customizing your PC look like it was designed for it? Still optimized for 1024 pixels screens width? [e digicons]8C[/e] Do any of you use that? Last update in 2010 looked outdated on launch day and if I were to come here for the first time today, I sure as heck wouldn't expect or try to find anything of interest, especially after discovering that most of the good stuff are premium skins. The thumbnails on the front page are 100x75(!) or something like that, and
Regarding codec issues, Deskscapes defaults to using media foundation for videos which is more modern than DirectShow. You almost certainly have codecs for DirectShow not media foundation. The settings page in Deskscapes let's you pick DirectShow instead (near the bottom of the performance page I think) Note that we strongly advise against the use of mpeg 2 for dreams and in fact would urge people to use h264 going forward.<b
No decoder found for this background. "Download decoder" Downloaded the supposedly needed mpeg 2 decoder. No decoder found for this background. "Learn more" Guess I'll just wait for the final version instead, because I have almost every codec available for video editing/viewing already installed and I don't believe the mpeg 2 from MS Store is better than the one I already have, and most imortantly, the dreams are still not useable in this version. No reason some dreams no lo
I haven't used SkinStudio for ages, but I guess it won't hurt to get back to get to know it again. Thanks for your help!
Well, I think the thought is that most don't want white. But you can change them to white in WindowBlinds config under the Modify Theme button.
I have tried the "modify style" - change system colour options. Does not work correctly on many skins, and a few skins get totally messed up colourwise, so I gave that up. And btw, I asked around at work, and nobody wanted anything but white as a background for daily use, so I
A question to all you great wb-skinners out there: Why not at least a substyle with white backgrounds on your windowblind skins at least on skins where the design don't require another colour? I know I would buy and/or download a lot more skins, since I only like white for daily use.
I just visit WinCustomize and all traces about fast changing times is blown away by design.
Looking good![e digicons][/e]
Can't remember any computer I have owned in recent years that needed 2 minutes to boot. I have a 5 year old pretty cheap Acer laptop that boot in about 45 seconds. My desktop compter boot in 25 seconds from standard HD & 15 seconds from SSD.
