I am not sure what you are saying. Can you please try to re-phrase what the issue is?
I believe this is tied to a known issue with 0.55 and an AI bug. This should be fixed in the next update.
We will not have translations until the game is nearing 1.0 We do the translation all at once and it costs money to have them done.
We should have a spanish translation but such translations are only done for launch. This is because we need to pay for the translations and they are done with the near-completed version of the game. <div class="ms-Grid-
Not sure if this is a bug, or intended... but if I build a manufacturing zone, upgrade it to level 3, destroy it and put Elon's Lift on that land (assuming some other culture hasn't built it first) it is at a level +3 (+7.5%) just for the planetary upgrades (not including tile boni, or adjacencies). This is powerful.
This thread is for gathering questions ahead of the Beta Q&A.
We're collecting the questions so far and will be preparing for this Friday.
Our official wikis are here . However, since the game is still in development we haven't focused on adding any kind of guides etc. yet. But, there is someone by name of SSStreetFighter who has been making video tutorials based on the alpha.
If you want good comments, suggestions, and questions, I recommend that you post what you are going to present on 10/22 a day ahead of time. This will give us time to digest what you are going to tell us and prepare for the Q&A session. I have played many sessions until the game crashed or stopped responding (I have not been able to play a game all the way to defeating all opponents due to the current state of the softwar
If you went from Win 7 to Win 10 it's possible you are missing key drivers/dlls for the game. This could also apply to some other titles. I think there is a way to force Epic to reinstall requirements but I can't think off the top of my head. Lemme ask around.
It's time to leave the dockyards! We are preparing to launch Galactic Civilizations IV into beta, and we can't wait to talk with you about everything that's shiny and new. When we launched the alpha several months ago , we knew you'd have questions - just like you probably do now. Which means it's time for another LIVE Q&A session with members of our
You're better off asking modders on our discord server . There are some tools posted there.
I'm pretty much a Steam guy, with a bunch of old games on GOG, but I think Brad's note about not using Steamworks for GalCiv IV just convinced me to go ahead and buy the game now from Epic instead of waiting. The more I think about it, the idea of Epic charging Stardock only 10% vs. 30% on Steam, is really a more compelling reason to buy now. I've been playing Stardock games for over 16 years and am a huge fan.&
Can you please add this on the main thread here .
Thanks for forwarding this to us. If you have a save game please upload to a file sharer of your choice and link it here as well.
Not hard at all. Of course it depends on what level you want to play. On Steam there are some guides for PVP etc.
I posted how on reddit. But please let's keep things on the forums here. You'll need to find the save under \Documents\my games\GalCiv4\Saves and upload to a file sharer of your choice.
