It won't. 98/ ME don't have the right bits in them to do it. DesktopX gets around it by using it's own custom alpha blending but still can only do that on the desktop layer. You can't make an alphablended object float above a windows or always on top unless you are using 2K or XP. Apologies, been a bit busy and missed your reply. To add a menu section to the bar just open the properties by right clicking the bar and add a section. Then click the behaviour tab and tick the option to replace that section with the menu of the current app.

Hmm. Would a transparent proxy affect uploads via ftp (not via IE)? If not then that does seem to be the problem. I have worked on this issue with Bryan for a while one evening and he could upload any size file to my PC via ftp without any problems. In reference to your comments on Photoshop. You mention the fact that it doesn't need to load it all into memory at once etc. Obviously if you are reading/writing from/to disk it will take longer than accessing the image in memory directly. When you are editing an image you don't want to find that your while painting little pauses are occuring while the program does it's efficient graphic accessing. I should mention that Photoshop already can make use of a scratch disk to store data

EnsRegis: It is indeed possible to get tear off menus from most apps. If you set ObjectBar to show the menu from the active app in a bar you can then tear off menus/submenus from that bar. Sounds like you are using Windowblinds and possibly have CommonNames installed. Check in add/remove for it as it may have been installed without your knowledge by another app you installed. If it is and you didn't install it intentionally just remove it and all should be fine. It's a limitation in DX. I believe it was raised with the developers who are looking into better ways of using images to produce an effect like you mention. Possibly having a dxscript option that would to show certain frames in an animation rather than needing states would be the key. After having browsed the wallpaper section for a few minutes I have noticed that many wallpaper zip's contain multiple sizes of wallpaper. I am wondering what the impact would be if those walls were uploaded as seperate zips. Jobeleca: To get this stopped you are going to need to do a bit of fact finding. If you look at the message source of one of the mails you should be able to identify what IP address it is actually coming from. If you then do a traceroute on it you should be able to discover the ISP of the user.
