It may be that the hotspot is set incorrectly (from your perspective). You can change it in the control panel.

Ranchi, India Coventry, England That's it!
erm. That's how that skinners university logo was picked. A competition on this site several months ago. Personally I think a tasteful little logo on the left breast area would be much nicer than the large logo.
Risky. Harmful reg files could easily be created also.
BoXXi: Check out Toxic by Morphh https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?Library=1&skinid=808 I think this is the one Mercury is talking about. Also Light Wood (by me) had buttons that looked animated but changed to non animated when moused over. https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?Library=1&skinid=850 Both use an animated titlebar to achieve the effect. <img src="http://images.s
Skinstudio XP is simply Skinstudio + Windowblinds packaged together.
If they have the extension .zip either rename to .dxtheme and double click or go to load theme in DesktopX and browse to the .zip manually.
It's probably the name. I know previously when I submitted something that had a . in the name it confused the system as it was looking at whatever was after the . to be the extension. Try calling it Sidebar V1-2 or something else without an extra .
Yay! Another person to pester. Congrats Mike!
From: http://www.dictionary.com/search?q=Brake%20horse%20power Brake horse power, the net effective power of a prime mover, as a steam engine, water wheel, etc., in horse powers, as shown by a friction brake.
I think the version number is taken from the registry settings and is (supposed to be) created by the installer. Presumably for some reason it's skipping that step with some people. Uninstalling probably wipes out those particular registry keys and reinstalling obviously puts the new value in.
vimalkumar: You could try a different news client. One of those is FreeAgent available from: http://www.forteinc.com/agent/download.php This is a nice news client that I personally haven't run into problems of that nature with. (However I have gone back to OE due to it's integration with email).
IIRC with XP to replace the Boot Screen you have to basically swap the kernel for a customised one. Bearing in mind that a dead kernel means XP won't boot I can't see wincustomize hosting them.
Voo: What you show in that screenshot is DesktopX not drawing the desktop correctly. Quite possibly because it has hung. Were any of the desktopX objects responding when you had that problem? As to whether Winamp3 caused it I have nothing to say on that matter When you can come back here with no other customisation apps running and give the same account your blaming it on Winamp3 may be more credible. <B
If it's a Windowblinds theme then it will have extracted all the files to a folder of the same name as the skin in your windowblinds folder. Find the fonts there and install them.
Boxxi: Good to hear you are still working on the WB skins. Personally I am working on a new WB skin and a DX theme to go with it. Converting Nuvems themes to use new plugins. Learning to use Photoshop (just got 7, I usually use PSP 7).
Lecrayon: Reading what Jafo put in his response he was answering both you and 1renegade at the same time. Hence his constant referral to 1renegade's comment about people suggesting to artists what is and isn't likely to be accepted. I really think you are reading too much into it. Basically what it boils down to is that an artist is free to create what they like but if they want it accepted here it will need to be usable as a wallpaper (usually a nice image with space for icons to

Sounds like it is definitely down to the RAM if the problem goes away when you take out the extra stick. Have you tried running with just that stick to see if the mobo just doesn't like that memory at all or something?
Of course I should probably mention the other 2 PC's: Athlon XP 1700+ Thermaltake Volcano 7+ 1GB DDR DVD ROM 80GB Maxtor Radeon 8500 attached to a 17 inch CRT and a 15 inch TFT via DVI Running XP Pro Wireless Trust Keyboard, Wireless MS Intellimouse Explorer I don't know how anyone could cope with all the fans mentioned above. Mine already sounds like a jet taking off with the volcano on it's highest speed setting. and: Duron 1000<
Hah! Mine is more powerful than all of yours: Pentium 100, 48MB 2 1Ghz Hard disks Matrox Millenium 1 GFx card with 3Dfx Voodoo 1 card Microsoft Wheel Mouse
What is your ping to wincustomize? Also are you behind a firewall? jarget: What browser do you use?
I think Alexandrie probably did it.
If that tutorial is done by Martin then it's fireworks. It's an excellent program for making vector animations etc. There is a trial at http://www.macromedia.com/software/trial_download/.
