Got Angela on the Brain huh? Miss her, do you? Does the name Shmoopy ring a bell?
SelfExiled
Yes, and you want to have it in bitmap form. Or, active desktop will load and you'll have other problems, or the wall may not load at all.
Then there are fan issues, that burn out. I lost a fan on my video card and it went kaput. Then there is the power supply. The capacitors in those things wear out too, when power is constantly being supplied to it. Why do you think that WC has to continually replace its servers? They run 24-7 too. Sorry, but I think your maintenance guys are wrong.
Yes, mine did that too. But, it just reverted to my custom skin, so maybe the Maintenance Server Guys are making progress. Patience, my friend. All good things come to those who have patience. Oh yeah, and I had a few friends who computers fried when they weren't home and they had a power surge. I had the same problem myself. I came home one day and my motherboard was fried. I learned my lesson. Luckily, it was still under warranty at the time. Now, I have two surge protectors, and I always
If you think about doing "great work", your first WB skin will not be that easy. Some of the things that these "Master" WB artists are doing, like Adni18 and Mormegil, are blowing my mind. And, I am working on my fourth WB skin. Because of this, I don't think I'll ever finish it. Wah!!!! (Think Icons to match it, Windows Media Player Skin to match, sysmetrix to match, Logon to match, Cursor to match, an
Yep, the first WB skin is easy. Then you realize all the things that you did wrong, and the second skin takes twice as long. Then when the third skin comes along, they add more things to skin, and you realize all the things you did wrong on the first two skins. Then, you look at the work of those who have done many great skins, and the time you spend on that third skin is unfathomable. Yep, it was easy at first. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/lol.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmidd
And the show goes on...
I think you need to clearly and politely state exactly what the problem is, and someone might be able to help you.
Well, I guess he asked for it.
What you really need is WinXP.(But, you probably know that already) I got it and I still have Win98SE on my system. But, I never use it anymore.
If anyone would know for sure, it is Frogboy. Believe him.
Good idea, David.
All that is possible in windows is based on the operating system itself. Windows has many different types of window frames. But, not two for a active window, only one. This is a limitation of the operating system itself. There are different types for tool bar windows and such. For example, if you start ICQ, it has a different window type.
Think tga.
Its only 5 frames total. #1 How can the true frame count be 5 if there are only 4 frames. Where do you see four frames total? 'nuff said. Come on, Koasati, lets be friends.
Correct me if I am wrong. Don't criticize me, just to try to make me look bad. That's not nice and it doesn't help or promote the community. [Message Edited]
Last frame on mouse over 5 Last frame on mouse leave 5 See the last frame? The true frame count is the number of frames that actually exist in the image. Not, just any number that one sets it too. "Life is too short, make friends not enemies" I have no enemies. But, I could use more friends.
"Details" I can't find a way to change that color. The color was on the word "Details", referring to "that text color". There was no reference to the pane, or the text in the pane.
If you have SkinStudio you can do that. Get the wall and go to the personality section of SS. Then load ye Desktop wallpaper, save, and anytime you choose ye skin, the wall will autoload. [Message Edited]
Yeah, you can make it translucent by matching it to the color in that area.
Okay, okay, so when is this thing suppose to start and how long will one have to make submissions?
Well, if it works..
He didn't say the text within the Details pane. I think he said the text where it says "details" and "File and Folders" Those can be changed. I think clarification is required.
I agree Evil. Plus it saves your computers life too. Standby, keeps power running into it, and a power surge could wipe the whole system out. Save the Dinosaurs too.
Oh well, you have to cough up the money for the best things in life anyway, right? You may agree with me that this is one of them.
