For the calender try a free program called Rainlender. This guy skins them regularly with his sysmetrix skins. There is also reportedly a new section coming here soon for rainlender skins.

Umm, don't you mean just to the left of the clock? To the right and it would be off the screen, since the clock is on the far right lower corner. Maybe the author created a background and placed french text in it. If this is the case, then you can't change it without editing the background bitmap itself. This is the only way, unless you have a french font already on your system. Or, if the Author included a french font and you installed it. [Message Edited]

What you want to do is open Logon Studio and click the load button. Browse to your .logon file and wahla. If that doesn't work then you have other issues. Software, system, conflicts, etc.

Are you using any other customization programs, other than Object Desktop? They might conflict. Especially, other Logon Programs. And, do you see the default logon when you start windows?

Actually, you can't move them in Windowblinds. But, they can be moved in Skin Studio. You can remove the User Icon in Windowblinds, but manipulation is done in Skin Studio.

I had the same problem with the menus. The transparency seems to work fine for everything else. I even tried using a tga file but that just made it black. After awhile I just designed the menus differently. Have you ever seen round menus on a windowblind?

Double click the downloaded wba file, and give it a few seconds to install it. Then, go to appearances in display properties and choose the skin from the drop down menu. [Message Edited]

Yeah, I noticed that with the start menu button and it works. The settings I used were 14 for the frame count, and 13 for the last frame. I wonder if the transparency is causing the problem. Only a portion is actually animated.

Yeah, I checked the height and mine is 69, the same as christmas time. It has 14 frames which is less than christmas time(21). It is just strange why it won't work.

He did mention that he has a Dell. Dell has been known to hack the OS to add its advertisement in the start menu of its users computers and its nearly impossible to remove it. Whether its a legal hack or not, its still a hack. I have a gateway and it was the same. They modify the operating system and its just not the same. Maybe you should try getting a unhacked version of WindowsXP. Windows Media Player should have problems like this. It is integral to the Operating system. Is WMP updated fully

Start Menu Animation in Skinning WinCustomize Forums

I've made a animation for a WB in the start menuuser pane. But, nothing happens. It works with the start button, and the christmas time one works in the User Pane, but not mine. I set all the settings like Mormegils, for a default but still nothing. All the frames are present. Any ideas? Thanks.
