Standby has always been weird. Why not just shut down and save electricity? That will solve your problem and help the worlds resources too. Standby is like a quick boot. Things are bound not to get drawn properly coming out of it like that.

More hijacking, I see. Oh well.
Just to be safe of course.
Kona, you must now uninstall your incorrect trial version and install the correct trial version.
Yes, alpha-prime maybe correct. I think you are not using the default taskbar which is green on blue. Windowblinds actaully uses that one as the default new skin from scratch(Luna). The chrome one maybe be a subskin of the default XP skin. You can try recoloring the default Luna in Skin Studio but you can't modify a default Microsoft subskin in Skin studio. Nor can you interchange the pieces. That would be a hack, better left to programs like StyleXP. But, you get what you get when you start hac
I'm right. Open Christmas Time, Check the frame count on the image, and the frames count that Mormegil set, then check the last frame he used. He's the master.
And yes, I have had many different scenarios with your problem. Switching from CM to SDC can cause that problem. Switching from sharware to enhanced version can cause that problem. It is sometimes best to uninstall before updating with a major update.
You must have skins in two different places. Maybe when you updated windowblinds, it created a new windowblind folder in your old windowblind folder. It could create conflicts too. Especially if you have multiple exe or dll files. If you don't have multiple program files, you can just move the skins folders that are missing to the location that Display properties uses, once you have found them. If you do, back up your skins, uninstall windowblinds, erase the directory and reinstall.
Those colors are the same as the File Folder and Task colors. You can get there by going to the Task Panel. It is the Fourth Icon in the center window on the left side while in Preview mode. The colors for each section will appear on the right when you click one of them.
This thread has been offically hijacked.
I would try the free solution of running Spybot(It's Free) and NAV before spending money unneedingly. I had a 64MB video card on a PIII733 and I didn't have any problems. I recently upgraded the video card when it went bad though.
Hmm, most of the WB skins are rips from luna. Something to think about before complaining. Maybe the author should have emailed the creator who he borrowed the images from. Especially if he used a lot of them.
It depends on the type of zip. If it is a .logon zip, open logon studio and click new and browse to the .logon file. If it is a .zip file, unzip it and move the entire folder to the directory of LogonStudio. The default directory is given in reply #1.
Oh yeah, I think you want the window position "On Desktop", which is not available.
If you really want that option, I suggest that you mail the creator of sysmetrix. That option is not available yet. But, the creator of sysmetrix is a great programmer and quite fast and nice. I made a suggestion and it was in the next version. I like that idea too. Many times I've wanted to check my system resources and I pressed show desktop only to find no sysmetrix. I think its a good idea. Email him and be kind, remember this is a free program. If he has time and feels its a good idea, mayb
Oh yeah, and if anyone makes a gay comment about the color of my next skin I will kill them.
Are we having fun yet? Even at other people's expense. I hope the starter of this thread has a sense of humor. No offense intended. I actually live in a gay town. It's kind of scary. More girls for me, I say. But diversely its quite educating and tolerant. I wish the world were more of both.
Wow, talk about cleaning out the closets. A thread that starts out with a member revealing to the community that he is a homosexual. Yeah, um, like I really needed to know that. > Oh yeah, I'm a heterosexual and proud of it. Welcome to the Wacky World Of Wincustomize. Where almost anything is bound to be said or happen. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/wink.gif" border=0 ALIG
Actually, I think its backwards. The frame count should be the true frame count. The last frame is suppose to be one less. The frame count is correct at five. But, the last frame should be four.
I would go to display properties, and the desktop tab. Then choose the customize desktop button. Then go to the web tab. Make sure that you have nothing checked there. I would also recommend that you only use bitmaps as wallpaper, not jpegs. Strange things might happen if you choose Jpegs. Windows needs to use Active desktop to display them.
You might try this Logon. https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?searchtext=Pirates&sort=updatedate&order=Descending&library=26
If it is a shorted hard drive couldn't you boot from a floppy drive? Those are normally set to boot first. I assume the system isn't XP with a 233 PII, so it is probably Win98SE. Why not get a Win98 boot disk and put it in and try to start the system with that.
There is a LOTR Windowblinds skin. It is quite awesome. Try this link. https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?searchtext=Lord+Of+The+Rings&sort=updatedate&order=Descending&library=1 There are also a few LOTR Logons too. I made a LOTR sysmetrix a while ago. Maybe I'll upload it in time for the DVD release.
Yeah, cool it with the legal mumbo jumbo.
Dreamdesign3d, I think you might get more help by contacting Stardock support or the windowblinds newsgroup. This is just the skinning site. I know everyone likes to post everything here and just chat about it and have fun. But if you have a specfic issue about something that sounds like a problem with possible beta software to begin with, I think Stardock is your best solution for answers, or to report issues. I can make one snide comment though? But, it won't help really. Was it a beta upd
