Try closing everything and installing the zippo theme. Close ObjectDock, AutoCad, sysmetrix, rainlender and anything DX. Then see if Zippo and WMP work together. I believe everything will be fine. The problem is that windows doesn't unload dll's when they are no longer being used. Windows doesn't give you back your memory. Object Dock will just keep building memory usage, and AutoCad won't unload its Dll's either when closed. This speeds up the restart of a program. But, it will keep chewing you

I found a email that has POP service and its free. And right now, I have over 133 messages, all of which are spam. They are all flooded with spam. How do you think they can do it for free? And these spammers are making it almost impossible to block them. They use meaningless characters in their email addresses and they change them at will. I believe that maybe Wincustomize shoud make other options available if a skinner gets urked and wants to take all their skins. I noticed that Phooey's Guitar cursors are gone too. He had some nice cursors. Maybe a preview could be retained, and a link where the cursor can be found. Therefore, if the author wants people visiting his site, and gets urked at WC, then he could still use WC as advertisement for his work and WC would gain the visitors to begin with. If one removes their work though,

I got to work today and began using some of my more intensive programs (Autodesk REVIT). Windowblinds is not an intensive porgram. Therefore, it is not windowblinds or Zippo which is causing your problems, but the "intensive" programs. This should be obvious. Okay, I'm sure you want the real short version. Here it is. Skinning takes lots of time and patience, especially in the beginning. No easy tutorials. Its basically like this; you dive in and either go mad, give up, or you become a skinner. You can start going mad by looking at the sysmetrix documentation. It explains everything. Then you have to learn a good paint program well. Try Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop. If you don't give up by then, you'll get it with no problem.

Well, it was a sysmetrix error. So, I posted it on the sysmetrix page. How was I suppose to know that the sysmetrix in the full package didn't work right and the sysmetrix in the single download, did work right? My idea was to give this information to the artist. Making it seem like I was unduly trying to criticize the artist didn't help, and it didn't make me look very nice. The downloaded file on my HD is about 2.4k in size btw. That was your problem, you didn't get all of it. That happens sometimes. That's why it's best to check the file size that is given and compare it with the size of the file you downloaded.

First the tray icon. You can find these settings by right clicking the systray icon for DesktopX under Configure DesktopX. If you don't see the systray icon, you can get these settings by clicking on DesktopX in the start menu. If the systray icon isn't there, you can turn it on by unchecking the "No tray icon" in the DX settings/advanced tab. Most of the skins that have Userpics, have these words in the file name in the WB folder. They should be bitmaps, or bmp files. If you are unsure whether it is the proper file, check the size. It should be 48x48 pixels. If the file is not a bitmap but, a jpeg or tga, then you may have trouble loading it. I suggest two things for ease. 1) Convert all userpics to a bitmap. 2) Save all your user (.bmp) pics in the default XP directory for Userpics. It is C:\Documents and Settings\

Try shutting down your web connection and close all open browsers. Then, open internet properties and erase your interenet cookies and files. Then, log back to the internet and sign back in to WC. That should fix it.

Just right click the download button in the web browser, and save the file to your desktop. Once the file is saved, double click it to install. It should be that easy. If there is a problem, then it is a problem with a specific skin. Mention any problems with a specific skin and post here. Also, if such a problem exists, the artist would probably like to know about it. Welcome aboard.
