It is probably a operating system problem. It use to crash all the time with Win98SE for me too. Win98 doesn't handle memory as well as WinXP. Therefore, when graphics intensive programs start operating, away go the resources and in come the crashes. Sometimes, you may not even have enough resources left to load it at all. Win98 doesn't even return the resources when you close a program, in case you want to start it again, so that it can restart it quickly, unless you reboot. I specifically got

This is the registered support site for Windowblinds, and everyone here will get very angry if you want to hack their product for free. Windows has a problem displaying .jpeg wallpapers especially WinXP. Windows98 could do it better, but you needed to turn on Active desktop. What I do is change all the walls that I want to use to the .bmp format. Sometimes, even if the windowblind contains a wall, it is misnamed, or it uses the .jpeg format and therefore, it won't load. Yes Frogboy, as someone mentioned before, Rainlender is a free skinnable calender. Sysmetrix artist don5318 is using it to compliment his sysmetrix skin. I had a similar problem when I applied a different skin recently on my WinXP system. Somehow the settings were changed, and my display properties showed that I was now in Classic Mode. Then, when I switched back to the WB skin I was previously using, none of the taskbars were skinned. But, I figured it out. There is a problem with boot screens anyway. The graphics can't look very nice because they can only use 16 colors. I tried BootXP and it sucked. I mean the program works, but the graphics degrade to 16 colors. It is my understanding that this a limitation of the OS. How about a quicknote and rainlender section? Both of these programs are free and compliment Object desktop quite well.

That's for sure and it's amazing how the Windowblinds desktop theme looks just like the movie. I only wish they didn't use Colony instead of ThredZ in the Winstyles theme. They also left out the Thredz Objectbar in the Winstyles suite. Thredz is a work of art. [Message Edited]

I finally saw that movie on DVD. It was awesome and the cliffhanger was breathtaking. I started making my desktop to that theme before I saw the movie. All I can say is WOW!!! Thanks Wincustomize and Stardock.

Well, I know nothing. I don't even know what 2 plus 2 is. I use to think it was 4. But, I realize that this is not really true either. Because, 2.4 + 2.4 =5(rounded off). And, if the two's were rounded off it would be 2 + 2 and therefore the answer would be 5, not 4. and likewise 2x2=6. I don't even know for sure if I will wake up tommorrow. I don't know the meaning of life. This question is how many of you will admit that you actually know nothing too? It's a really humbling feeling. <img src="
