I'm very careful with where I leave my email address. However, I'm deperatly trying to get my friend NOT to send me chainemails and sign me up for all these addressbook and find-your-friends thingies.
I used to get them on my old account. Which now is dead and burried. I remember that at one point I replied quite angry to one of them telling my honest opinion about it. Not sure if it was a coincidence or not, but I think it stopped for a while.
The PDF scriptmanual I get when I click Documentation from the Help manu in the script window opens a manual for version 2.2. The DesktopX site only links to a .doc file now. Is there still a pdf version, or is it gone? I know that on my computer over in England I had a PDF for the version 3 script manual and I'd like to have it on my computer at home where I am now. Not that it's a big deal, just a preferance if I can choose.
If you are making a skin, widget, gadget, shell, application or website then you are making a Graphical User Interface. When you make a GUI, do you think only of the appearance? Do you think of the usability? I have found many very nice skins, widgets, shells, you name it, -but I haven't found all of the, good. One reoccuring example is scrollbars that can barely be seen. I have to guess where it is. Another is skins that doesn't hide the windowfr
I'd like a really good ftp drop. The one that is here does not work very well. You mean drop any file to the object and it'll automaticly upload it to a ftp site?
Is it really only $49.95 for Linspire 5? Or is it me just beeing silly?

How is this a security issue? Not sure if this is a bug. Because these widgets uses the IE Control which is running on the IE Platform not from Internet Exlorer. Internet Explorer it self is a program that runs on the IE Platform. Because of this, settings in IE won't apply to all other applications using the IE Platform.

I only just came across this today. I think it happend after I accidential made my script go into a loop. Had to kill the DX process. The script was saved before that, many times, but after I opened after the crash it was all gone. I restored parts of it with a file recovery program, but most where gone. I'll try to reproduce this tomorrow.
I would be interested, but I don't have anything finished. I've got some concepts done however on my photoalbum. When you say GUI design, do you mean skinning or planning of the user interface in general?

Unfortunatley as was stated you cant stop people from having their opinion, but I believe that the best PR cannot be bought. And thats word of mouth ! so if everybody here in the community believes in our product I think thats one of the best ways to promote it. That would be nice. I really do not feel like clicking the agree button. Don't get me wrong, I don't think Stardock would cause me problems if I did, but there I some things I prefer to get right. And license agreements, contracts and such are matter I want to get right.
