With standard font smoothing the font will only smooth at a certain size. If they are too small they will be aliased. This information is stored inside the font itself and can vary. Does the fonts anti-alias at larger size? Does this only occur in SkinsStudio, or is it system wide? Bebi Bulba: Your Arial font doesn't anti-alias with ClearType? How bizzare. ClearType should anti-alias all fonts. Can you post a screenie of samples?

If I undetstand this right, we will be able to export windows sidebar gadgets to dx ? Doubt it'll be possible. Because Sidebar gadgets use HTML and JS where the JS manipulate the DOM to control the appearance of the gadget. I don't see how that can be converted into DesktopX equivalent.

You need to access the gadgets properties, [rightclick] - Propertes, And then set the z-order there. It's a bit annoying that you can't set a default z-order for gadgets...

Tabs. Everything in tabs. Because I got so many other applications running that it jsut crowds my taskbar. I tried to use IE7 for a while, but it just felt all too slow. Especially on website with allot of flash on it. I got an IE extension installed as well that allows me to view a site in IE inside Firefox if I ever come across an IE specific website.

I'll be using ObjectDesktop on Vista. I'm not choosing Vista for its front end, but it's all the stuff under the hood which I really like. It's stuff you dont really notice immediately, but discover as you use Vista. I find it a bit awkward to go back to XP now.
