These court and government decisions are example of your unending jealousy of American technological hegemony. So you're saying the Norwegian government did this because it was jealous? What would it benefit of that? The issue lies in that Europe got a different set of rules for doing trade as oppose to the US. So there is doomed to be issues when

The question isn't whether they can, it's whether they should. It's their choice of course, but I doubt the anti-european propaganda that keeps sneaking its way into wincustomize is good for business. I sure as hell don't feel like buying any Stardock software when it's painfully clear that the company is run by narrow-minded, holier-than-thou American idiots. But then aga

f there's one thing that will one day make stop visiting this site, it's the constant slandering of Europe and europeans by certain staff members and regulars. While some criticism might be valid, there's no reason to be so damn smug about it. If you need an outlet for your political views, then do it elsewhere. They own it, they can do and say what t

I mean, if the United States is really the biggest threat to world peace, then that begs the question -- what should the world do about it? I mean, heck, shouldn't the world be building up their military power and preparing to coordinate their efforts to put a stop to the world's biggest threat to peace? The country with the single most number of nuke

Still, its certainly a risk to do so. At the end, the Norwegian Parlament will have to pay its price at the next election if it didn't work out as intended, or if the outrage over this law is too big. I very much doubt that this will be of any issue for the next election. And our gouverment the past few years has been consisting of several parties any

So it sounds like there are reasons to upgrade to Vista after all. I am still concerned about having legacy applications work. Compatibility is generally good. (Note I've only used Vista uptil RC2) But that is on the 32-bit system. 64-bit version will not be that great for backward compatibility as it got stricter security and no 16-bit subsystem.

For gadgets it's up to the developers to create hotkeys to bring the gadget to the front. It makes sense if you consider a gadget a standalone application, but it would be nice with an option at compile time to opt for the gadget to respond to DesktopX's widget toggle hotkeys. You could ask the gadget developer to release a widget version or implement hotkey.

I'll gladly not use them if they mess things up, I'm just not sure...what not to do The plea was for WC's webdevs. Not general users. (As they generally dont tend to post links with javascript) I think I might have been a bit too brief and not explaining myself when I posted the thread. Out of curiosity; is there any technical reason why pure

Any forum thread, article or gallery item where comments go over several pages and you got buttons to navigate to the next or previous page. For instance this forum thread: https://forums.wincustomize.com/?aid=141378 After all the comments you got previous and next buttons which is not links, but actually divs with javascript to handle the navigation. Sorry it wasn't clearer in original post.

Please dont use pure javascript for links. Such as when you navigate the pages of threads with many replies. It breaks usability. For instance, I often open links I'm likely to look at after I'm done reading the current page in a new tab. But I can't do that with the forum navigation system because there is not link to open in a new tab. Please provide conventional links. I can't see any reason to use javascript for this.

One thing, to use the white on dark theme you got to set the background colour and text colour on OE. It's a bit awkward. I'll be submitting a support ticket on this. (I've been keeping them busy this week. ) Background colour: RGB 40,36,36 Text colour: white
