First Suggestion: As discussed on IRC today, I think the mouseover "Thread Previews" should be scaled according to user rank (if possible). For example... a guest doesnt get a post preview, and a visitor gets about 50 or 60 letters. A journeyman might get 100, with Moderators and up being able to see 200 or so characters. (ps: Andrew, dont forget to convert line breaks to *spaces* not just remove them... otherwise the words run together! <img src="http://images.stardock.com

This was just a post to test something.

I'm wondering if he means the wallpaper....

Why am I writing this? Recently, Brad Wardell (Frogboy) wrote an article about the main features of the new forums, and showed how powerful they were. Its a great new forum system in my opinion, and kudos to andrew_ for his amazing work on it. He's got some nifty little features implemented though, that most people dont know about... We discovered a few of them whilst chatting with andrew_ a few minutes ago in IRC, so I thought I would share. Forum Navigation Arrows
As per our odd conversation on msn last night, congratulations! Hope your birthday has been a good one!
In Firefox 1.5.0.5, if you type text in the in-post reply box, then click on Advanced Mode, the text you have doesnt carry over into the editor. In IE6 it does, so I think this is a bug.
Andrew... I had an idea about url insertion into posts.... instead of the link automatically coming up [ link="url" ]url[ /link ], could you just have it say Link in the middle instead? That way we dont end up with long url's all over the place where ppl arent sure what to edit...
Po, have you tried removing NoScript (and KEEPING it off) and reinstalling Firefox 1.5.0.5? I want to know for SURE that thats not the problem.
Have you emailed [email protected] about this discrepancy? I believe we talked on IRC...
Haha, nice find KiloKrash! (Fuzzy, 0 guests )
Po', is there any way you could get onto the Stardock IRC channel in the morning (stardock time) sometime this next week? You could probably get a conversation with Andrew_ about this problem, and we could troubleshoot in real-time to see if we can get this solved for you. Sorry for all the problems you are having... there seems to be some major issues at hand, and some of the symptoms of 'normal' behavior you describe arent even the norm for me, so I would like to figure out whats goi

Bichur, he means the actual login info bar for each user... that was his.
Its likely that the white was caused by true black being the 'mask' color. Look around in your settings for that, and set it to FF00FF or some such color.
Go to your My Account page, and go to "Cross reference with Stardock Account".
Its showing me your nickname in the post above, as of 3:22am EST, July 28th.
Daiwa, I think thats being looked into.
Three... Thus far, no bad experiences!
