"last running 24 hours of posts." ... or "Posts in the Last 24 Hours" Jafo, I agree... as long as they are 'admin-visible' only. I dont think the 'general public' needs to know who makes what edit all the time. Perhaps a 'last edited' thats visible to the general user, with more detail for admins?

As one of the moderators on this site, I think it might be important for others to see who they can talk to about moderation issues etc. I see that Stardockians have a sort of 'banner' on their posts showing that they work for Stardock, and I would like to have something similar for WinCustomize administrators, wizops and moderators. Perhaps something like the Stardockian one, but with a WinC lizard or something similar? Anyone else have thoughts on that?

Bmaker... Again, please try to be more diplomatic in what you are saying, or dont say it at all. The other members of the community will not take kindly to the lack of respect you are showing towards any individual who challenge you. Your statements thus far have indicated that you are far more concerned about demonstrating your 'rights' here on this website than the actual topic at hand. Just to be clear, the 'right' to speak here is in fact a privledge.&n

Bmaker... Please consider how you are phrasing things. I dont think the amount of excellent skins has gone down... I think the proportion of them has gone down due to the amount of 'new' skinners taking things into their own hands. I think its great that there are alot of new submissions, but alas, I agree with the low vision of quality amonst them. So yes, the average may be lower, but its worth it to find the new gems by authors like Josephs.

Ratings are NOT important, and are better ignored. Take it as a compliment if your ratings are high, but otherwise dont be concerned about them. Same with comments... good comments are welcome, but the bad ones should be ignored unless they point out a problem in the skin or theme.

Whoah, it does that? o_0 Loving the external scripts! Editing in ObjectEdit at the moment until I get visual studio .net installed again, but so far I'm really enjoying it! I would suggest having a 'refresh script' entry on the context menu, above the 'Script Enabled' button, in order to save some clicks. Is the 'Script Enabled' command accessible via script? If so, I'll just write an object to toggle the scripts on and off in a set of objects. <img src="http://images.stardock.c

Umm, you could always NOT use the betas... They *are* test builds, after all. Just use the latest stable versions and you should be better off! Well, you're going to find that it takes awhile yet to find a good blend between what you *can* do, and what you *should* do. Art is something that you should really think about in terms of what things 'need'. In cases such as this, DeviantArt is a good place to start uploading. They accept pretty much everything, and your real gems will show through in comments etc. I would suggest holding off for a bit before uploading stuff to WinCustomize, in order to find your own style, instead of just

I no longer was willing to pay for a badly supported product Meaning WinCustomize.com? In order for the site to be supported, it needs to show some form of revenue. Surely you cant expect Stardock to foot the bill for the ENTIRE website?! A site this huge costs hundreds of thousands of dollars per year to support, and its *supposed* to be

Also, Brad, this looks like an incredible plan of action! I cant wait to see all the awesome improvements to the site over the next several months. Thanks to Stardock for supporting WinCustomize... the community wouldnt exist as it is now without your contributions!

And wouldn't be easier to just take down the site while you switch servers? Most likely. However, there would still be a 'buggy' phase during which all the inevitable kinks would need to be worked out. They will be found faster if all WinCustomize users contribute to finding them, even if it will cause griping. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc

I'm astounded by your ability to critique such things as the quality of this website. I would suggest you start with a) a spellchecker, and b) better control of your shift key. The truth of the matter is, Stardock has some of the most talented professionals working with them that I have ever seen. I often wonder about the insane skills it takes to keep a site this massive running properly. It might not work ALL the time, but it works well MOST of the time. I'm not really going t
