DesktopX has a built in 'filmstrip' animation ability. What this means is that if you create all the frames of your animation side-by-side in the same image file, then tell DesktopX how many there are, it can animate it for you. Create a new object, then go to the 'States' tab in its Properties window. There will be an 'Animation' tab farther down. Also, when dragging, if the icons wont move, right-click on an empty part of the dock and make sure Lock Draggin is disabled.

Ok, the best way that I've found to do this is to start with two objects. One is the 'Wallpaper' object, and the other is the scripted 'Controller' object. Step One: Create a new object, and in the summary tab make Top = 0, Left = 0, Width = 100% and Height = 100%. Also, change the Object ID to "Wallpaper". Apply etc. and close properties. Hmm, I dont think its even close to feasable that its a Stardock prog. I concur with Lantec... try clearing your cache and deleting the WinC/Stardock cookies.

Well, you can either change the 'real' desktop wallpaper, or have a huge DesktopX object that changes its image to what you want as the background. Neither should be too hard to work with... I'll try to write you up some example code when I get home from classes.

I could, and did vote. Agreed, the url stuff needs to be looked into, although the 'insert url' button is a current alternative, and shows how to properly format the links you wish to insert.

Hmm, I recall this feature as well. I just tried it with the "Address" bar in XP SP2 and it worked fine... make sure the Taskbar is set to 'unlocked'.

dd/mm/yy is my preference of date formats. I would like to be able to customize this to my liking, but I'm not sure how much the coders want to make forum-specific personalizations.
