I'll have to take a look at your mod and investigate.
UnleashedElf
I will investigate this further when I have the time to play a new map as to see whether there may be issues with the Temple of the Dragon and 2 Sarogs.
Yeah the hard part would be creating new improvements, weapons, and other things. Let's see: - Improvements - Spells - Equipment - Buffs (like army size and "refined") You may be right that it is a lot more work. Hmm ... can you copy the current tech tree and mod it?
Yeah they are in the XML code. I think that it is it? Sigh ... I guess playing AOW3 for a while made me hope for more. The one thing that I'd like to see is a better tactical combat system.
Totally beginner question, especially since I've been playing for so long. But what do walls do? They prevent monsters from destroying improvements without entering the city, but that is about everything that I can see. Do they have any other effect? Why upgrade? What do the castle walls do compared to the hedge?
Right now it looks like the game essentially has a tech tree with 2 variants - 1 for Empire and 1 for Kingdom. Would it be possible to create a new tech tree from ground up? Or a third variant?

The devs are already going for a middle ground, as stated here: "In GC3 we will introduce the ability to assign roles to ships, giving them unique behaviors in fleet battles. These different behaviors will be used to spe
Ok, thanks for the update.
$20 - sold. How will the units distinguish themselves with no unit design?
So will this make Sarog standard, Primal?
Is this compatible with the latest 1.6 patch? Edit: Should I just try Blood & Mana instead?
Old thread, but yeah I think that may be the only thing that works. Somewhat OT, but I guess it may be worth looking at making an "immune to diplomacy" ability for the future.
Question, Sins Rebellion just got updated to 1.82 - is the R7 version compatible?
What I want to see are spells that require some degree of coding and effects - not just simple XML stuff. I don't have specifics, but it's what I'd like to see. The reason why the Leaders Pack DLC got such a big backlash was the perceived lack of effort on Stardock's part and after getting it on the 50% sale, I'm inclined to agree that it was not what we as a community felt was well ... fair. The thing I would like to see the m
lol, dude not wanting to rant but the OP sounds like a butthurt child, the only "troll" i can see is you and your insulting comment about another game and their developers. grow up kid. ...BUT... FE:LH has more and diverse quests, a bigger focus on civ-like features like your towns and the expansion of your civilization. customization is also a huge selling point in FE:LH, a decent diplomacy system rounds th
I'd rather not go into comparing like that. The AOW3 budget > WOM + FE + LH + GalCiv III. To put things in perspective, the WOM team was 6 people. Total. I don't think AOW 3 and LH are that similar. AOW and Warlock are more comparable.
It is an apples to oranges comparison, but seeing that other people were doing so on this thread, I decided to jump in too. Triumph's gamble here
On the whole, let's not forget that this game has just been released. A fairer comparison would be to Elemental - War of Magic, not the current Legendary Heroes, which many people seem to be doing. They've said on their forums that they are going to be releasing expansions and updates too, so we'll wait and see how that goes. Considering that this game is just released, it's not in a bad state at all - balance needs a bit of work, but largely ok. As it stands tho
I don't really see this as a problem. Just get the tech that allows roads to outposts and you can put up roads pretty easily. The build roads skill is pretty useless as you pointed out however.
It's really slow and that requires clicks. It's a huge micro problem when you've got a large empire.
Just for comparison (since this will vary from one processor type to another) I have an i7-4770 (quad CPU, 8 threads) and when the game is idle, or if another app has the focus, the CPU load is all over the spectrum, with some CPU's load going as low as 5% and others running up to 60%. Also, the temperatures of the CPUs are varying from the mid 40s to 60 degrees C. My GPU's usage is running between 55% and 65% and at 68 degrees C (
You could also cast the spell that levels up your units regularly.
I do not know of anyway of doing this... it is a tedious way to build roads to say the least. I don't think there is an auto-cast button whenever one moves from a spot to another.
Yeah it's a seriously annoying problem at this point.
For units that can build roads (ex: commanders), is there a way to automatically build roads rather than moving 1 square and clicking road?
Like somebody mentioned, you can overlook the lack of originality with the fact that they're so over the top. The Dregin burn people's souls (Aul) to produce energy for fuck's sake. They're metal as fuck. Works for me. e: but yeah they remain space orcs, down to the green skin. Doesn't that kind of reinforce the stereotype though?
1. They are patient. If a plan takes tens of thousands of years to come to fruition, they are perfectly willing to wait. See the first conquest of Toria as an example.
