By the way, I feel like saying something about your claim that this site is biased toward popular skinners. My first skin submitted to this site, 'dinks' for WindowBlinds, was received with just as many compliments and helpful comments as any work submitted by any of the so-called popular skinners. Skinning can be considered to be a form of art, but a good artist doesn't necessarily make a good skinner. This is a skinning site plain and simple. That's the way we like it, and those of us who also dabble in other forms of art do so at other more appropriate sites.

I did start doing some work on an update for dinks just after the GUIOs, but I decided that so much needed updating and fixing that I'd just create a new version from scratch. As with so many of my skins, this currently only exists inside Fireworks, so once I get back into the flow of skinning again I should be able to get everything together. I did what WiseOldMan said and things seem to be working a little better now. So thanks for that. I think I've lost the patience to be able to go back and do everything in Notepad again. After a prolonged absence from skinning WindowBlinds, I decided to fire up SkinStudio and get back to work on the myth that is my 8-ball skin. On the rare occasion that I do put together a wallpaper for public consumption, I always try to put a 'Copyright ©2002 grayhaze.com' text in the bottom which will be hidden 90% of the time by the taskbar. It goes some way toward preventing unauthorized redistribution of the wallpaper, just as I put a copyright message in the UIS file of a WB skin.

While I'm looking for a permenant web job, I'm just ignoring any places that are looking for someone experienced with FrontPage. It's just a tool for amateurs. Any web developer/designer with any amount of experience or knowledge uses Dreamweaver (or sometimes GoLive in real pro-Adobe companies).
