Is their some reason that the widgets(with the new version) don't remember their position on your desktop(when you shut down and restart) like regular DX objects and widgets made with the older version.

Just want to know if there's a different way to rotate an object other than just choosing rotate image. ( In paint shop)It seems like when it's done that way, everytime it's rotated it gets a little bit blurrier. Any suggestions?
I seem to have a problem with widgets, with the new version they don't seem to remember their desktop position when you start or restart( they aren't in the same position on desktop as when you shutdown). The desktop X objects seem to be allright and the widgets made with the old version seem to remember their position on the desktop. Does anybody know why?
All my other objects in DX remember their position on my desktop when I restart, but I got the new updated beta version and when I make widgets they don't remember their position when I restart. Is this the way it is or does something need to be fixed?
Thanks I'll try it...
I've always used paint shop but recently got a copy of photoshop and was just wondering about text alignment. In paint shop you just create text and click on objects and align text in center of object, horizontal or vertical. Can you and how would you go about it in photoshop?
Thanks for letting me know...
I was just wondering how you would go about getting a real nice smooth preview for your wallpaper? I've looked at some other previews of wallpapers and then looked at mine and theirs is really smooth and mine isn't. Any suggestions?
Thanks, I didn't know they were working on it...
I just want to know how do you know if something has been accepted or not. I mean it use to say "waiting for approval" under my skins but now I don't see it.. So how do you know now?
I was just wondering about the different sizes they make when they create a wallpaper. Let's say you make it as 1280x1024, you can't just resize the image to 1152x864 or 1024x768 without losing a little of the image. I was just wondering if they make a seperate one for each different size or is there another way of doing it?..
Thanks I'll try it...
Have an image that's 1280x1024 and I was just wondering if there is a way to resize it, to lets say 1152x864 without distorting image in any way.. I mean I can resize it in paint shop by locking aspect ratio, but when I do it that way it comes out like 1152x922 or something like that. And when I unlock aspect ratio and make it 1152x864 it distorts image. It's an image with a sphere in it and when I resize it to the size I want it kind of squishes the s
Seems like I tried something like that but when I went to save as 4 bit it wouldn't change from 8 bit...I'll try again though....
I just got photoshop and was just wondering how to prepare image for a bootskin. I have paint shop 9 and can do it in that, but this is alot different.. Any suggestions?
I got it to work but the picture looks real bad, I mean it's all red and just looks plain lousy...
I used skin studio to prepare image as bootskin and it didn't work, then I used paint shop to prepare image and it worked. Go figure.....
I was just wondering if anybody can explain to me why bootskins that I make don't work? I've looked at other ones and made mine the same way and for some reason they don't want to work. Any suggestions?
I was just wondering about which one of the options you choose when starting a windowblind skin? I mean in skin studio there are different options to start with like template, windowblind skin, the new skin wizard, which one is best. I was just wondering because I was thinking of maybe trying one...
Thanks I'll look into it....
I have paint shop 8 and am getting kind of tired of using plugins for glass effect. Can anyone teach me how to do it without plugins? I mean I can make a sphere look like a glass ball but that's about it. I've looked for tutorials for this kind of effect but all I can find are tutorials for glass buttons. I've noticed all kinds of tutorials if you have photoshop, but I don't. So can anyone help or am I just out of luck.. Thanks
Thanks
