jebland, I did almost everything. I unloaded (disabled) WB4. No chance. I reinstalled WB3.4 disabled it and installed WB4. No chance. I tried to delete the folder WB in the C:\Programs\WindowsBlinds. I got the message: fastload.dll can't be deleted. So I dont't know what to do!? My PC is now running with WB3.4. It seems that WB4 can't be installed at all. I wonder if I order the full version of WB4 and install it??!! Or you see any miracle that can happen? badbluebo
Nakor, thanks for advise. It's easier to tell than to do. I have apready tried yesterday but ther are files you are not able to delete. If I try to delete the whole folder in my directory C:\Programs/windowsBlinds it does not accept.Such and such files kann't be deleted.............. How to proceed with files I'm not able to delete? badblueboy

yrag, thanks for advise. But it's not quite clear to me. What means reactivate. It is activated. Only thing I can do in the System properties is to deactivate it as now is activated. Do you mean to check or uncheck the box "turn of system restore" in the system window? badblueboy

My System restore has been deactivated. I'm using the McAfee Virus Professional and Firewall 4. I know it has nothing to do with stardock but anyhow. Mc Afee doesn't answer. If I click on system restore there is McAfee window opened and something like "hawk" appears. badblueboy
What are exactly Logons? O.K. I'm administrator and I don't have to enter any password when I start my computer. I'm the only user! There are Logons papers to be downloaded. But wha is the purpose of it. Do I need it or is that just another playgame. badblueboy

I can download all skins(WindowsBlinds) except Carbon Fibre by BoXXi. According to Author there is no problem but anyhow doesn't work. I have even reinstalled the complete ObjectDesktop incl. WindowsBlinds but without success. Can anybody advise. badblueboy
