Neither - thanks, will try scrolling down next game i play when someone gets their path. would installing the screen mod make the Devils and Wizards mod not work? Or would it mean i could see all paths including modded ones without having to scroll down?
Cruithni
The rest of the mod does seem to work but loading games is even slower than before (though not sure if that's due to the mod or my laptop)
I didn't when i was looking at that ability in that game - i do now
Seems the paths part doesn't work with 2.0 at any rate - sovereign only got the standard path options when he first levelled. Any chance this will be updated to work in 2.0?
Could anyone please tell me how to create new bloods/races?
Looks like a great mod. Will it work with 2.0?
Just realised it's showing an area of effect whenever i target to fire with her , so maybe it is working and a passive ability
But it would show up but dimmed and unusable if it was that - it doesn't show up at all.
I got a new hero who was a level 9 assassin and in her traits it shows 'rain of arrows' but in battles it doesn't show up when i click on skills for her (i've equipped her with a bow)
P.S it's a random map game. Please don't tell me that you're not allowed to attack the Sorcerer King in those
Ok i've killed both the Sorcerer King's lieutenants and have both their keys, but still can't open the gates of the Sorcerer King's fortress to attack him. What is the reason for this please and how do you fix it? Happened in a previous game but somehow eventually started working. Tried re-trying and reloading and exiting and restarting the game over and over again in this game though, but still doesn't work.
Well turtling for ages is likely a bad idea in the first place. You need to be out levelling your hero and getting more troops and crafting gear and recipes right from the start (lots of quests e.g at inns and villages can get you extra troops early on, or you can just recruit some soldiers). You need to find sites for new cities and where other shards are fast and expand to them as soon as possible I don't enjoy playing the campaign on Insane because everything having suc
Oh and 28) Make initiative differences less extreme. It makes sense that mounted troops should be able to move further, but it doesn't make any sense for them to have much higher initiative than infantry, archers or casters - and it makes battles too predictable because you pretty much know who will act when. It'd be better if archers, infantry and mounted troops all had similar initiative. Higher initiative should be for sharp witted or very fast moving creatures like wolves. It doesn't
Yeah the area effect archery is archers' greatest strength - it's bizarre that the Ranger's ability that's meant to improve archers most actually weakens them most
If you liked Fantasy General you should try Sovereignty - kind of Fantasy General style battles but dozens of different kingdoms and a campaign map to fight over. Don't expect fancy graphics - all 2 dimensional - but an ok game. It's in Early Access on Steam.
After the half-assed wreck that Rome II Total War is I will not be buying Warhammer Total War on release and amy not buy it at all, depending on reviews by players- not critics - the critics and computer game magazines are full of shit and painted Rome II as wonderful. They didn't even make a new game engine, just used the Empire Total War one which can't put units in proper formation in battle and can't handle using rams and ladders on walls in assualts on walled cities. That means it can't be
Seems to work fine for soldiers equipping swords - other melee units you still need to do the enchant weapon/ save/exit game/reload workaround (though you can do it with any number of weapons at a time)
The Fallen Enchantress races are all too similar for my liking - needs some dwarves, elves, orcs etc. Would definitely buy a new version of War of Magic (especially if it had multiplayer)
Another couple of things to add to my earlier list 20) Make the Ranger's ability that lets him and other archers in the same army as him fire at the start of the battle actually useful by letting you choose the targets and use abilities. Currently it's a liability as you can't choose targets or use special abilities and it sets them way down the initiative chain after it's used - so actually worse having it than not having it in some ways at the moment. 21) When a unit d
Sounds nice. Looking forward to it - keep up the good work.
Great to hear. Would love to get the following 1) Items fixed so they can be equipped by units meant to be able to equip them (e.g swords for soldiers etc without the slow workaround of having to exit and restart the game) 2) New crafting recipes to make iron and crystal mines and horse stables more useful - specifically the following - 2 Iron can create 1 Flawless Iron - 2 horses can create 1 wolf pelt (representing horse/cattle hides used to make leather armo
Nice work - so it is modable - not that i have any idea how to mod
Instead of only being able to get crafting ingredients by destroying mountains or forest with spells (which is ok, but one off - and a bit evil) - how about also being able to cast a spell to create a lumber camp on a forest, an iron mine on a mountain, or an alchemists camp in a swamp. The Fine Iron mine would usually just produce Fine Iron, but have a small chance when created of being a Platinum or Fine Crystal Mine instead. A lumber camp would just get you production 9 times out of
