maybe I'll stick with 2.29.370 build 115 That was around where I had all the problems! Since about 2.30, things
Just as I thought...threaten their wallet and results will be had! When I told them I wanted my money back, I was immediately put through to tech-support where a weblink was emailed to me. I don't know if I'd be so smug - you haven't solved the cause of the problem. To me it looks like you've b
ObjectDock Plus, version 1.20.520u Plus. You do know it's up to 1.30 now?
You need to install Stardock Central. It provides the support files for the system tray stuff. Once it's installed make sure that both checkboxes under Settings->General->Enable MCP... are ticked, then reboot. If it still doesn't work, it's probably related to what's being reported in this thread: https://www.wincustomize.com/browser/forums.aspx?AID=118332 <img src="http://images.stardock.com
In addition to Jafo's suggestion above, has anyone tried my suggestion (#11) in this thread? https://www.wincustomize.com/browser/forums.aspx?AID=68121 I don't have the problem so it's completely untested (but logical IMHO) & I'm not going to try it on my machine but if you have a problem, what have you got to lose? <img src="http://images.stardoc
This is really puzzling... I don't know what you've tried already, or what other threads you've read. but may I suggest the following: Make sure you're logged in with admin rights. Uninstall SDC - check in the Windows' "Set program Access & Defaults" that it's gone from there. Then check using TaskManager that no copies of SDMCP.EXE are running (kill them if so). Delete any startup entries for SDMCP.EXE you might have i
Judging by a quite a few threads in the (not so distant) past, McAfee seems to be the source of a lot of problems with various apps (and DX widgets) that need to access the internet - and it seems to be regardless of whether the warning appears (and is allowed) or not. A definite check would be to try it with McAfee disabled (or uninstalled) and see what happens... <img src="http://images.sta
I suspect both subjects are closely related! Absolutment! How's the beer supposed to be kept cold if there's no power for the 'fridge?! <img src="http://images.stard
IMHO FWIWI it's better to use an existing thread (provided it's on-topic) than create new ones all the time. What the forums really need is a useful search facility...
I just noticed a potential solution in a thread a bit further down... Link Yes, #2 in that thread works...
Re fav Oz beer: A cold Coopers rolled (on it's side) down an ironbark slab bar somewhere off the Birdsville track (*sigh*, ahhh...) Now I need translation: DYNAMASO WHERE ART THOU???? "Coopers" = Coopers Ale (from South Australia & brewed in the bottle) "rolled..." = the bot
Ok, if I read this right, Australia is the same as Europe. DC. Which you can get DC to AC converters, I think you may have this confused! All our mains outlets are AC 240V,50Hz although I've heard that Australia may eventually follow the European standard of 230VAC,50Hz. The wall sockets
Dunno, can't get any lower... C'mon! You can't mention mice without talking about pussies <a href="../resources.as

It's pretty much the same as (most of) Europe 240VAC/50Hz. If it's a reasonably modern computer power pack it should run on pretty much anything between 100V-250V. It'll be listed on the pack itself somewhere... The main thing he'll need is a plug adapter because we have unique 'angled-flat-prong' types / \ that no-one else (except maybe NZ) uses! | HTH. <img src

thanks however i have found no way of moving the docklets around There's a control under the 'Positioning' option to move it away from the edge a fixed amount. Don't think you can just drag it anywhere... <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=center bgColor=#FFF394 class="mb-Body-Quote-Tab
You don't even have to create the file with notepad! It breaks on those characters when created by another editor or via the console!
the only other thing i'll add is symantec products don't like being loaded onto an already buggy comp Ooohh a Symantec fanboy (JK! ) I have to say I've got no problem with Symantec's PC Anywhere. Been usi
Sorry if I misunderstood the question I reckon you nailed it! I bet there'll still be complaints about 'running tasks' and 'systray' docks because that option is greyed out on those... <a
Have you tried 'Settings->Internet->Refresh XML Data'? Though I'm not sure if this works for SDC itself or just the installed apps... Or maybe change servers?
An uninstall of SDC and reinstall should do the job He claims he's done this and it didn't help! I can't think why - it's always worked for me. Is it some permission problem maybe on the \program files\common files folder? <img src="http://i
