I don't think those files are ours to give... This will be why no-one's sent them to you. Besides, the versions may or may-not match what you have and possible cause a whole new raft of troubles.

Sounds like he's paranoid about WB breaking his PC so by putting on a RAM drive it will be easy to erase if there's problems. Just download & re-install SDC and let it update itself, then tick the appropriate boxes in the SDC configuration options for MCP and you should be good to go!

Do you have mcpcore.dll and sdmcp.exe in 'c:\program files\common files\stardock' ? They sometimes go missing when SDC updates. These files need to be there for the systray to work. If you don't have copies anywhere else you may need to reinstall SDC to get them back.
When I apply a bootscreen, why do the previews look awesome, but when my machine actually boots, they look VERY pixely. Bootscreen images are only 640x480 pixels x 16 colours. I'd say whoever made those particular bootscreens may not be showing 'honest' previews... <img src="http://images.stard
No added/custom docklets. It's been such a long time since I've done a fresh install of OD, but ISTR it installs a couple of docklets by default (weather & clock?). You don't mention whether you already removed these... I don't have GC2 either, but have you tried the 'Temporarily Disable Do
With all due respect to Citizen seldomseen , it's under the Dock Settings->Tabs & Styles option but you have to click on one of the tabs to cause the background options to appear.
This does happen from time to time since OD appears to spawn some apps within it's own 'environment'. From my limited investigation, it looks like it's dependant on the app being run also - eg SDC gets spawned in its own environment even though it's launched from OD. I think it would be a good idea if OD could have a setting to permit spawning apps in their own environment, although I wonder what impact this would have on system resources, p

Re installing docklets, it should be documented in the material you download - if not, pester the author to do it! Usually you need to create a sub-dir under the docklets directory in the name of the docklet and install the files into there. 've seen this on previous builds somtimes and it's usually associated with a dialog from RC which has popped up asking if you want to save changes. If it pops up behind another app it's often not noticed. Trouble is you need to find it before the 'shutting down' dialog countdown finishes! Once you save the changes it's all good again.
