It's funny, I have the right-click -> WinX Context menu functionality on one PC but not on a 2nd. The first PC had Start8 installed when it was running Win8.1 and both Windows and Start8 have been upgraded to 10. The 2nd PC Start10 was installed straight onto Win10. Hi Dockers ;-) Just discovered a little issue with the environment variables that are passed to the launched apps. It was discovered when attempting to launch the Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) from a CMD windows that was, in-turn, launched from OD+. Not sure if it's relevant or of any real assistance but when I monitor the internal OD threads using SysInternals' Process Explorer tool I get a CPU activity spike in the following areas during the time that OD is unresponsive (as consistently as I can tell after closing an app that was launched from the dock): In ObjectDock.exe the thread is called ObjectDock.exe!DotNetCallback+0x35b90 - it spikes from ~0.01 to > 2.5 for the 'hang' duration In Dock64.exe th

In the background.ini file under the [info] section there's usually an entry simlar to: TextColor = 0 0 0 These are RGB values between 0 & 255 IIRC. I don't think there's a per-tab setting, only a global one, but I haven't looked into this since the OD 1.9X days. HTH Chris.

Crashing when using a flyout menu in ObjectDock Stardock Forums

Hi All, I just discovered that the flyouts have returned after a recent update (via Impulse) of OD2+, so in the space of the last week or so I added 2 flyouts (custom, containing only application shortcuts) and now OD crashes when trying to access the flyout. I'm only using a single tabbed dock as a program launcher & it's been rock solid. System is a Toshiba Tecra P1, Intel i7, 4G RAM, Win 7 x64 (with all current updates). So what's it mean when I have OD 1.90 b537 installed an running (as shown in OD's about dialog), yet Impulse shows I have 1.91k b538 installed? Is there a way to 'reset' Impulse's register of what's installed and/or updated? FWIW SDC shows 1.90i[b].020 as installed for me.

Anyone else getting messed-up forum/discussion access from within SDC? Seems to be following on from some connectivity problems over the last few days - i.e not able to see any discussion toics via SDC at all, to now there seems to be no correlation between topic heading and the list of discussions actually displayed and/or selected within the disucssion settings. I understand there are updates & changes going on, so I'm guessing it's some kind of side effect? Or is it just me ;-)
