There's always the SysStats support to create docklets but... (I've thrown this 'nag' in on other OD+ docklet-related threads so why not here also? ...) Why not give OD the capability to host DesktopX widgets? That would automatically give OD users access to a lot of existing (DX) docklets. <a href="https://www.stardock.com/products/sdcentral/" title="Posted via Stardock Central"

Have you looked at the Apple video demo of the stacks? IMHO they leave the flyouts for dead. The biggest appeal of the stacks for me is that you can just drag a group of items from a folder to teh dock & the stack of those items is created automatically. If/when OD+ supports DesktopX widgets there may be a chance that something like this could be created... <a href="https://www.wincustomize.com/resources.aspx?cmd=3" title="Posted via WinCustomize Browser/Stardock Cent

I can sort of see the utility of the OPs idea. FWIW I have the hotspot set to the middle of the edge that the dock is attached to, this way the mouse is already somewhere on the dock & there's not much more movement required to get to the app being launched. As well as OD+ I also have RightClick loaded for the apps I *really* use a lot. This pops up the menu wherever the mouse is. It only works if you can rightclick somewhere on the desktop *BUT* it does also open on pressing t

As per the titles... Object Navigator is not showing whether the scripts associated with various DX objects are running even though the 'Script Enabled' property is ticked (toggling doesn't rectify the problem either). The scripts appear to be genuinely running (the DX object functions OK) but in my case where there are quite a few scripts it's quite inconvenient not to be able to see which are running & which not. Previous release version was fine. Running XP Pro SP2,

Don't know if this is related, but I'm finding that the Icon Labels are not coming to the top (Z order) when the Tab Drawer has been activated (i.e slides out). They are there but appear behind any windows that are in front of them. This is only for tabbed docks, zoomer docks work fine! This occurs in the latest beta 1.90h, but it was there since the previous 1.90 release version also. <a href="https://www.stardock.com/products/sdcentral/" title="Posted via Stardock Ce

sounds like a confirmed bug then Well partly... For me the weather flyout is fine! Although it's on a seperate vertical zoomer dock on the left screen edge, hmmmm... As a test, adding the weather docklet to my tabbed dock makes it behave incorrectly as per my other flyouts! HTH to track it down. <

Ths program is free Paint.Net and has good transparncy handling. Nowhere near as many bells & whistles as PaintShop, but then it's easier to use! Windows Paint.exe (since XP) also saves PNG AFAIK, but the way transparency is edited etc is not so elegant I think. <a href="https://www.stardock.com/products/sdcentral/" title="Posted via S

Tabbed dock on top edge (config'd as a drawer) with 2 flyouts in one of the tabs... Both flyouts open off-screen to the left as if centered on the left screen edge. Tried adding a new flyout, but the result is the same. (mebe try ta emulate OSX Panther a lil without full on rippin em off) I was wondering how long it would take before this suggestion came up! Don't get me wrong! It's a way cool idea but mainly from the drag-n-drop POV so if that's lacking it'll not be as good IMHO... <br

Wwhat about the first question? Any suggestions? At the moment, the 'Show dock as drawer' option is designed like that - you can't change it. A polite request/suggestion to Jeff may get it included in a later update (no guarantees tho')...

Well cut off me legs & call me shorty! How long has this been available ?!? It's awesome! BTW, seems to work perfectly with the latest Beta of DX ( 3.49b[b].008 ). Next question: When will it be incorporated into ObjectDock !?!!

If you only use OD 1.9 (and not ObjectBar or DesktopX for system tray) then MCP is not needed! I recommend uninstalling it in that case. I have OD 1.9 and no MCP loaded and it works fine. Another thread reported that after cleaning the registry it worked - maybe an option for you?

i then right click and go to "add" then click on "new "sysStats" Docklet" then an error pops up that says "ObjectDock has encountered a problem and needs to close" Did just use the default version of SysStats that comes with OD? If so I'd suggest updating SysStats to 2.5.11 here's one place to get it: . I recommended you shutdown OD prior to doing the update since you'll need to copy over som

I downgraded to 1.5 which works at the moment. I'll wait for a fix or a new version to try again. But 1.5 *does* use SDMCP! Are you sure that when you have 1.9 loaded that SDMCP is *not* running? Note that SDMCP is not launched from the 'usual' startup locations !!! - SDC is the most convenient way to disable it because of that. <a href="https://www.wincustomize.com/resources.aspx?cmd=3" title="Posted via

The rest of the space is needed so that the tabs are readable. A couple of workarounds come to mind... Smaller tab fonts? Shorter Tab names? ISTR that if the dock was resized, the tab text gets the '...' appended if they don't fit, not pretty hence the suggestion for shorter tab names.
