I completely understand your problem... you need to uninstall it... and reinstall it now... you have uninstalled the free one before installing the commercial version... uninstall it completely making sure neither version is left... and then install I would install it from Stardock Central if I were you... interesting... I'm having a similair problem.. it just freezes after about 10 mins... that's it... everything still works fine on my system... but I have a frozen wallpaper once again... I changed the performance settings down as low as they could go... and now it doesn't seem to be doing that anymore... I wonder if that would solve the problem for you... and interestingly enough I also have an 8800 graphics card... I wonder if thats the problem...

I've been using windowblinds for years... and I've used it on every computer I've owned in the last decade (seriously).... I could never live without it....
I just re-applied Aero through windowblinds, and it changed right away,(funny I've never used it... always had windowblinds since I installed vista lol) I have the same Graphics card, but everything else is different, what driver version do you have for you graphics card? I have version 7.15.11.6925 if you have the same maybe we can exclude the card as the problem... I'm thinking it's an issue with the 64 bit vista and windowblinds...
I just wish someone would make a good WinAmp skin to match Sirus... ;p but I'll keep my eyes peeled... lol...
I'm not sure how mycolors works... but I downloaded it for free... I think you just pay for the themes... the software it's self has no cost...

I do love gimp.. and I've recently been using InkScape... that's a hard one to adjust to though after using CorelDraw for so long.... Paint.net is free though? I think I will DL it.... ;)

I have no idea, but if you are looking for something similair I am using one right now called Eminence, it's similair, and has a transparant taskbar, it's a lot nicer in my opinion...
Immortality, haven't you heard, that's one of the features in Windowblinds version 10.0, it will be out in like 10 years, and that time, most of the programmers will hopefully still be around... (if not there will an option of skinning people, so they just skin someone to look like a Stardock programmer...)

I've tried firefox and IE, so I don't know if that's the problem, but mine says across the top one or more images didn't upload,and next to my avatar it says image uploaded successfully... LOL... not sure I will keep trying...
