Ok, I now realise I should have right-clicked and selected Download and Archive instead of clicking the Install button. It should be a bit more intuitive though, but I will download again. I read somewhere that the auto-resume is not working for the download/archive method. Is that still the case? Doesn't matter too much for the base install.. but I have a download limit with my ISP and don't want to have to re-download the multimedia part! thanks for any help.

Hi, I successfully downloaded the basic (89mb) installation of Galciv and it installed into C:\Program Files. I was under the impression there would be setup files that I could burn to cd if I needed to re-install. I actually want to re-install it to D:, and now realise I could have done that via Tool/Registered Products/Installation Path. Does this mean I have to download again as I can't find a setup.exe or anything related..... ~SDC~

I will be downloading the game and was also going to get it shipped for $10 as I thought a printed manual came with it. From Brad's sticky post this doesn't seem to be the case. So should I bother with shipping? I have a burner and can make a CD once my download is complete. Just wondering whether to spend the extra $10 (which is $20 aussie!). thanks for any help.

Ok, judging from the Aussie release date thread - I am going to go with the download option next week. Will there be a printable manual (PDF, plain text or something). Also what is the estimated delivery time if I also order a shipped copy to Australia? Is it days or weeks. (Not a big deal if takes a while - just to help me decide whether to bother printing the manual or waiting for delivery.) Thanks for any help.

Yep, I think you are right uruguru... I confused "Intelligent" and "Incredible". Anyway, I have a feeling I will be skulking around at the Fool/Beginner/Sub-Normal level for quite awhile before having to worry about the upper levels. I am really looking forward to this now. I was planning on waiting for reviews/demos etc. but Brad's comments about ditching MP to concentrate on a better SP experience plus the fact that you can only play humans (which means I assume they have spent more

I would agree with Aristocrat.... Might be nice to have an option where the AI has the ability to make the more intuitive decisions available on higher difficulty levels - but without the prodcution bonuses? Mind you from the sound of things I don't think I would be playing at the higher levels for awhile yet! :) Either way - it's all sounding very promising. Hope there isn't too much delay on an Australian release date!
