That's unfortunate. In my situation, I have three PCs... my main one (email/browsing), a work PC, and my gaming PC. I have to share my keyboard, mouse, monitor and speakers with all three, as they are all side by side and there's no space for multiple workstations. I've been using Multiplicity for many years, but it seems that recently I've been experiencing the issues listed, after getting a new game PC (secondary). Most of the games work fine, but some that are fir

Both primary and secondary are running the latest (3.6 Build 00105), and I already tried flushing the cache, restarting the process, unloading and reloading the program, etc. I'll re-read those steps, and see what I can do.

1) The Windows cursor is appearing (with the in-game cursor) on the MP KVM window on the primary. I have the secondary connected to the MP KVM with the Ethernet cable, but also have the secondary connected to a flatscreen monitor (for troubleshooting this) via its video out port in back. The flatscreen (direct video output) shows only the in-game mouse pointer. 2) No physical mouse attached to secondary PC. Doing so causes mouse pointer to lock in place and glitch, u

Experiencing another type of issue. In another first person shooter type game, the mouse appears to be working for its menus, but when in the game, the mouse buttons seem to be working, but the view is not being moved/rotated. Instead, it moves the mouse pointer, which I imagine should be hidden (and instead, the mouse 'panning' controls the in-game view. Seems some games have random issues with Multiplicity (often different issues in each case), while other games seem to

On some games, I'm finding that Multiplicity displays both the Windows mouse pointer, as well as the game's in-game mouse pointer, and the two are not aligned (and the game's mouse pointer often glitches positionally). I've also had one game which has typical first person shooter control, where the view is moved/rotated by the mouse... and there, a windows mouse pointer is visible and actually restricts the movement, as the camera movement stops when the mouse pointer hits the edge of

Hi. Yes, I had viewed all those articles previously. None of the issues are permanent. It just seems to take multiple tries. Just now I tried connecting, and the first time, I got the invisible mouse pointer, then (after a window close and re-open) a visible mouse, but it doesn't interact with anything, and then after a second window close and re-open, it's working. Usually takes three tries. (And sometimes the screen is totally black, but that didn't hap

Hi. I haven't been on the forums for a long time, and have visited now to post about some recent issues... and am now catching up with some of the 'new' posts. The issue I, and seemingly the others, are talking about is a random issue where Multiplicity suddenly claims the passcode is not correct, even though nothing was changed. Seems to just happen once in a while, and for me at least, time fixes it. I come back to it later in the day, and it's acting fine, like no

Hello. I'm experiencing an odd issue that I'm curious about. If I play XPlane 11, which is on my secondary PC, the splash/loading screen appears (on the KVM window), but after a few seconds or so, the screen goes black, and stays like that until the game has loaded, where the screen then shows up again. This happens again once I have chosen a plane and start the flight session, where once again, during a load, the screen goes black until the sim has loaded up. It s

Hi. I've been using Multiplicity for several years, and generally it has worked fine. Recently, I have replaced one of the secondary PCs with a new one, and although Multiplicity ultimately works, it seems to struggle and require several attempts. I'll try and provide you with as much detail as I can. Typically, this is the sequence of events: From the host PC, Multiplicity says it successfully connects to the secondary. Sometimes the video in the win

Ya, I already checked that. Mouse software is on both machines. As well, it happens with regular (non-software requiring) mice. As you can see in the video, moving the mouse (non-drag) is all very responsive and correct. It's only the dragging that shows issues. No CPU strain. Everything else works very nicely. Even stranger... If I drag to the left... pause, drag to the right... pause... etc (giving plenty of time during the pause for any lag

Although Multiplicity is working great on some/most of my software, I'm finding that (specifically) mouse drags seem to be getting 'amplified' in some software/games. A small mouse drag results in an extreme motion of the on-screen item (on the Secondary PC), even though non-drag mouse movement works fine. It's like the distance the physical mouse is moved gets multiplied before the data is transmitted to the software. What could be causing this? Wha

Using a Wacom Intuos 4 (which works fine when directly attached to the second PC) through KVM mode doesn't seem to transmit the pen pressure. Everything seems set up fine (works without Multiplicity). 1) Does Multiplicity (KVM Pro) actually transmit drawing tablet pressure to the Secondary? 2) If so, what things could possibly be preventing all the software on the Secondary PC from receiving it (or what could be blocking the pressure data before it even arrives)? <p

Hi, Lexxko. I'm just one of the users here (not support), but if I understand right, you are saying that copy/paste works in KVM mode (as opposed to Seamless mode), but drag and drop doesn't. Drag and drop (unless I am mistaken) is only available in KVM mode (controlling several computers on ONE monitor)... not seamless (having multiple monitors, and having a computer on each screen, and being able to move your mouse pointer seamlessly off one and onto another). Luckily, c

Multiplicity mouse drag issue in Modo Sorry... I had set it to be not private, but YouTube seems to be a real rats nest as far as settings and navigation these days. I changed the settings, and it SEEMS to work for me here, but please give it a try again.

I did some more tests, and here's what I found: -Dragging a text item in Modo: Two copies of the item end up being displayed, one that tightly follows the mouse pointer, and a second copy that follows in a sort of 'attached by an elastic band' way. It's hard to say if it overshoots the intended path (ex. in a circular move), or follows the mouse pointer's path exactly (but in a delayed way). Both items seem to START movement at the same time, so it appears it's not so much

https://youtu.be/i1sgoyOGBwA Please see if this link works... And again, this issue (with dragging) does not occur in other similiar apps (ex. After Effects, paint programs, etc). So far, all my other 'work' software works fine with Multiplicity. I have only noticed it (as far as non-games) in Modo. There were different issues in SOME games, outlined in my earlier post. The Rebel Galaxy issue M

Sorry that the video link doesn't seem to be working for you. Works for me over here. Standard YouTube thing. Not sure what is wrong. Is there an email address I could send it to? I'll see if I can get a new link, as the video IS there. No, your summary is actually wrong. Sorry for the long posts, but there's a lot of info to cover, and a lot of important details that can't be missed. Please refer again to the summary I made for Modo, in a p

Multiplicity drag issue in Modo Here's a video showing the 'mouse drag' issue that happens in Modo (but not other similar software) when using Multiplicity. I am dragging a camera object with regular, repeating 'left, right, left, right' drags, with a brief pause in between. I've included text indicating which direction I am dragging the mouse, as well as to show WHEN I am dragging

IMPORTANT CLUE: It appears the issue is isolated specifically to mouse drags (mouse move WITH button pushed down). I wanted to see if the issue was isolated to just the 3D windows, but it appears it is occuring in other parts of the interface (...it's just not apparent, as you don't usually DRAG in those areas). One part of the interface has a text list (sort of like Photoshop layers... a vertical stack of items). So, I grabbed one of those items (hold down mouse b

Hi, ya, I can appreciate how confusing this can be to follow... especially since there's different behavior in each software. I was just playing around in Modo, seeing if I can find something more specific in the behavior. I also tried to see if there's anything I could capture on video, but again, without seeing the physical mouse movement, you don't see the discrepency between the mouse vs the pointer. But, I may be able to remedy that my 'narrating' the video, so you

Every once in a while, when the Multiplicity window (showing the screen of a Secondary PC) is minimized, the window itself disappears... as does the taskbar 'bar' of it, making it impossible to get to it. I have had to open up the Task Manager, select the Multiplicity window item in it, and select Move To Front to get it back. Sometimes (I think), somehow, it shows up without doing that.. probably in the same mysterious way it disappeared. Not sure what the trigger is
