I am having a minor problem with the metaverse, I have joined an empire (CDG) and while a message displayed that I had joined and I get the option to quit my name is not listed as a player and I don't get there logo on my posts, can someone help??? They don't know why it didn't work either and told me to ask here BTW my first submitted game didn't appear on metaverse either
Elden
It would still be optional to give it the default name (system name, planet number) but you may want to rename some planets (e.g. your economic capital, your first colony etc.)
Oh and my only submitted score hasn't appeared - GGGRRRRRR >:(
I have seen the question asked, but not answered, many times here. Why can't we name individual planets? Looking through one of GalCiv's files in note pad I found the code to do so exists: [RenameStar] Every Star System has to have a name that suits that cluster of planets. What name do you feel would be appropriate for this star system? [NamePlanet] All has progressed smoothly with the colonization of your new planet. You may enter a name below. So why isn't it
BUMP can anyone help with this ?????
[quote]Brad did state that he has spent the least amount of time coding Yor's AI so its not surprising that they are the galactic doormat.[/quote] You'd think the robot race would have the most AI ;) :D [Message Edited]
It's open and the empire doesn't know why it didn't work. I tried to quit and rejoin but I still get the quit button and not join even though it says I successfully quit. I don't know what's going on.
Will there be a way to rename individual planets (Like Earth, Mars etc.)

Thank you soooo much for your promptness on the Aussie release dates, most developers forget Australia exists or release months later but I have just bought GalCiv today in Australia so THANKS !!!!! :D :D :D

And if Europe has that much of a delay I dread to think how long it will be before us Aussies see it in the stores (Luckily for me I'll be in America in August and can get it then if it isn't in Australia by then !!! :))
No Problem, I was just amazed to see the links on a non-GalCiv site I vist but not here.
Why doesn't your main site mention that you've released your demo when a non GalCiv related site I've been to does Link 1: http://www.computergames.ro/download.php?optiune=show_download&did=1318 Link 2: http://www.worthplaying.com/article.php?sid=10366
I'll just wait for it in stores unless it will be more than a year. I've heard it'll be six months can anyone from Stardock confirm that???
Number of reasons - Credit Cards Over Internet - Massive Download Etc.
Maybe it would be good in about fifty years time when the devs actually releade the game in Australia...
A built in alarm is useless, just look at a clock in the room between turns.
Why won't you release this game in Australia? Some people love this game but never give their credit card number over the internet. This game looks great but if you don't release out of America you will lose many customers (me for one) :( >:( End Rant :)
Sorry for the double post :(
7th would be great as my birthday is the 9th !!! :CONGRAT:

I'm 18 in less than a month but since GalCiv is not yet avilable in Australia I'm not a plyer - just a fan
