Interestingly enough, the Drengin collapsed in my current game. The Altarians, while good, seem to be the strongest threat in my game. ~SDC~

Yep. They hosted the show. The most memorable thing from the show for me was this tall skinny Indian yogi folding himself into this little plastic box and being sunk under water for 30 minutes. ~SDC~
I have the same problem. There should be a debug.err file in your GalCiv directory. I was going to wait awhile before asking about it. I figured the Stardock folk had enough to worry about with the launch of the game. Alt-Tab seems to work alright. In any event, I assume Stardock will need the err file. Hope this helps. ~SDC~
Anyone remember a show called "That's Incredible" from 1980? They had a guy eating a bicycle, cut into small pieces, bathed in motor oil. ~SDC~
You can also compete by uploading your results to the Metaverse. ~SDC~
Ack! Double post. Dang mouse, I need to back the sensitivity on mouse clicks back. Many apologies. ~SDC~
Paranoia is good. :) ~SDC~
Paranoia is good. :) ~SDC~
I have emailed the zipped bookmarked PDF to your Stardock address. ~SDC~
I found the Orionsector reviews to very detailed. While I might not agree with some of the opinions, they were clear, concise and upfront about them. Biases were clearly stated, I don't know that there is much more that you can ask from a review. Good job, something I should probably say on their forum. ~SDC~
I have a bookmarked PDF ready to go. ~SDC~
I noticed the PDF manual doesn't have any bookmarks. I added a few, and will try to finish the job in the morning. I'll see about passing it back to Stardock for posting after I have finished. ~SDC~
Then my copy of W2K appears to have been unaffected. SDC version report 0.99a.139 build 1. I started the whole process around 7:30PM EST. I am going to grab mirc now and give it a try. ~SDC~
I am not up on chat lingo, what is miRC? I need to get to bed, so it isn't all that important tonight. It looks like my W2k installation is okay. I don't see any obvious missing files at the root. I was a bit concerned by earlier posts that seemed to indicate that some damage may have occurred in the \WINNT directory. I'll wait to turn off this machine until I read a more definite answer. Talk to you in the morning. ~SDC~
By reliably, I am talking about using the chat feature of SDC. Sorry, it is a bit late. ~SDC~
I don't appear to be able to use SDCentral reliably. I have been able to connect, but eventually it dies with a memory error. SDC auto updated on my system, downloaded GalCiv and everything is running. I have a W2K system, should I be concerned about missing files at this point? ~SDC~
I don't know about that. In my case, I am just a bit to embarassed at the acts of stupidity I committed in my youth. Hopefully, I won't make those mistakes again. Of course, it is now past midnight, and I just finished downloading a bit ago. Do I fire up GalCiv, risking the "just one more turn" addiction or play it wise and go to bed now? ~SDC~

About 9:30PM EST, speed bouncing from 52k a sec to about 4.75k a sec. ~SDC~
You don't have to download Stardock Central to buy the disc from a store front, Walmart/EB/etc. You do need Stardock Central to download the bonus pack and updates. Stardock Central also provides an interface for purchasing GalCiv online from Stardock directly, if you don't want to buy it at a store front. ~SDC~
Osman you are certainly entitled to free speech; however, if you yell fire in a movie theater there will be backlash. Sencho is one of the owners of the MOO3 Forum house. I don't know which particular thread you are refering to, so I can't speak to specifics, but I assume as an owner Sencho was basically telling you to either stop/get out. Please remember that most moderators are not paid and must deal with hundreds of posts. I would ask that you not clutter up this forum with MOO st
That's weird. I finally got the message to be marked read and then it got reset to unread in the display box. Sorry, just trying to clarify some of the things I am seeing with this version. I downloaded the 0.98 version last night. ~SDC~
Congrats to you and Stardock. It has been a long road. Btw, try not to lose your mind while moving. ~SDC~
