Good question.

Thanks for hitting this head-on Brad.
Listenning to the "churchy" lady would have led to more answers than you could possibly imagine.
I must be slow...I still haven't figured out why.
You know I've always wanted to try one of those battlecruiser titles. Despite your comments, they look good ta me.
You can get them pretty cheap these days. ~SDC~
As a Texan, there is no way in hell that I would join the Canadians. I think the opposite could be said of my RL Canadian friends LOL ~SDC~
Sorry I know this probably isn't the place but its easier to poke a little fun at him here than on his own site ;) One thing can be said about his previous "Space Sim" ventures though...they had a lot of "space". :D ~SDC~ [Message Edited]
to try and get me to buy another one of those coasters they call a game. http://www.gamespot.com/pc/sim/universalcombat/news_6075591.html Of course if they change it to where the TRC and the GHK would interface with MNPC it wouldn't be near as hard to get the the WJZ and the PLA to work like they would in a decent space sim. I mean, when I set a TRC to 4 and a GHK to 60 nanoseconds my MNPC better be stable at 10., but Derek Smart says I'm an idiot because their MNPC goes to 11.
The new Texas Republic is an equal oppurtunity xenophobic empire. We take all comers who either a.) are from Texas or b.) wanna be from Texas (this pretty much covers everyone LOL ). I've been out of the game for a while but I saw how much these guys were busting their ass(besides the fact that Lotherius mysteriously got my email address) so I figured i would come submit a few of my easy games for them :) ~SDC~
I am just yanking chains here... no one take me serious. ~SDC~
Thats the problem with the Europeans. We didnt even ask your opinion and you gave it anyway. ;) ~SDC~
This is me ... I moved to Texas. JK ;) ~SDC~
I'm totally with Pontius on this one. These regionalistic empires are petty especially those Canadians :) ~SDC~
That's a pretty slick way of giving the thread a bump. ;) ~SDC~
I'm competing for lowest score. ;) ~SDC~
Your point was that Avault has no monetary reason to give good or bad reviews. My point is that they do. :) ~SDC~
LOL when I finished looking at your screenshot I tried to click the "done" button. I've been playing too much. :notsure: ~SDC~

Break the bank leasing colony ships and race for the yellow spots on the map. I even scout with colony ships if I have to at the first of the game. ~SDC~
Oh...did I mention I'm a no-talent hack? ~SDC~
Don't trade with people you plan on going to war with. I set my games up with a pretty good idea who is going to get some and who isn't. I will let them set their routes to me but I won't run my routes to them. ~SDC~
"I moved my ships around a bit, but now they won't even move. It says 2/2 moves, but they don't move. Oh well, it's good to know that at some future date I'll be able to use the product they sold me today." The back of the manual was got me off to a pretty good start. The section called "Basic Walkthrough". Just Remember you have to borrow a lot of money to get a decent start. The lease is your best friend. ~SDC~
Twisti said: "Also don't forget that a bad review, and especially a review that undeserved bad, will cost the programmers real life cash, the kind you buy your food with. A bad review means a bit more then just hurt pride - thats worse enough if a product is really bad, but unexcuseable if it isnt. It's like taking someones money and burning it to cinders because you had a bad day at the office." I've bought a drengin subscription and a shelf copy for my brother (I wanted the
