Play.com is a great choice! They are cheap and deliver to your doorstep for free. It's gonna take a few days to get to your doorstep though.

A beta of the manual is downloadable through the link in one of the stickies of this forum.
Nope, I cannot confirm this as a fact. But since Peace Phoenix is a gammatester he might know how it works. Only someone from Stardock could spoil the true beans though. So perhaps mr Frogboy himself could help us out here?
That would actually make sense. Thus if you sell your complete pool, it's empty. And it slowly starts to fill up again each turn as your planets generate new influence points. Selling you whole pool has a major impact on the UP ratio's though.
It's the total amount of influence, not specifically related to a planet. It will influence your cultural borders if you sell too many influencepoints. Influencepoints also affect your number of votes in the United Planets. So basically you sell 'influence' for the United Planets meetings. Meaning that if you trade 200 points to the Torians they'll have 200 extra votes in the upcoming UP meeting, while you have 200 votes less. That could be a crucial difference. Hope that c
Sorry StoweMobile but the beta has been closed about a month ago. Only a selected few gammatesters are now playing the latest build to help the devs finalize the game.
Here's another Dutch fellow. I preordered directly via Stardock. Did the same with Galciv I. Stardock Central is working like a charm nowadays so I can recommend it to all dutch people with ADSL or Cable connection. Count me in for a Dutch empire!
Great report Brad! Keep those coming. I really dug those journals close to the release of GalCiv1. It's great to see them back in full swing. Looks like you still have some work to do get the AI at a really challenging level. But I'm sure you'll get there.
Yup, checked it out. Really cool journal. Keep them comin Brad and crew, keep them coming!
Oh goody! I love these long reports with nice goodies in it. Any chance we'll see complete reports about full games just like you did before GalCiv I was released Brad?
Oh well, maybe we're lucky today. If not, I'll play Civ4 this weekend, which is quite enjoyable I might add. But I'm sure looking forward to Beta 4 as it promises to have huge new chunk of meat compared to Beta3.
Well it will sure fill the gap till the full version of Galciv II gets released.
A bunch of new screens just appeared on game-over.net. Once again some very nice screens. The game is looking better every time new screenshots come out. If only beta 4 was here already. Oh well, we'll just wait here patiently as ever.
Fullscreen 1280x1024, 4xAA, Logitech Mx700 mouse, Win XP SP2.
Other post got lost or something. In the mainscreen I cannot scroll left or up by moving the cursor to the edge of the screen. Right and down DO work.
I cannot scroll left or up, while I CAN scroll down and right. This is when moving the cursor to the edge of the screen.
Never mind, different topic.
@ Jari and Zera Do you guys have 'show prereleases' on in the options of SDC?
Rats, couldn't keep my eyes open yesterday and went to bed. Oh well, I know what I'll be doing when I get back home from work!
Patiently waiting Boogiebac. 5.00 PM your time, would be about 11.00 PM CET. Just when I return from volleyballpractice, so good timing if you ask me
Yep, Ugleb is right. Take is easy pal. I'm sure it will be posted on this website when beta3 is out.
Looking good guys. Really hope to enjoy Beta3 later today. I like Lord Kiron's suggestions. Should improve the UI and not too hard to implement I suppose.
Guess I was too early or too late. At 23.00 CET there was nobody to be found Oh well, at least we have some new screenshots today and later on, Beta 3 itself!
Wow those textures add a whole new dimension to the game. Looks really great. Looking forward to Beta3, even without those textures. Lots of new possibilities to test out.
Would have loved to join, but I'm in a meeting this evening. I'm on CET time too. I might have a look later on to see if you're still there.
