Played for a few hours and love the new build! It's been a good challenge on normal, small map thusfar. Few things I noticed: - Met the Ice dudes, but their units seem very passive, as in they hardly move. Is this intended behaviour? I'll test more tomorrow. - SK interaction is great now. Love how my relations slowly got worse. Big threat to him now, so it's war! - SK stacks seem to 'teleport' into my lands. Is this supposed to happen or did

I know there have been discussions before about manual unit placement. I don't really care for that but what kinda annoys me is that units sometimes get placed so close to the enemy that they die before they can act. Especially those poor pioneers really can't be placed on the front line. If you face high initiative opponents this is really a problem. I feel units shoukd start a bit further back. I know you want TC to be a rather quick affair, but this only lead

Few things about the return home scroll I noticed. 1) I was a bit surprised that instead of crafting a scroll I could use when I wanted to use it, I was teleported straight back home. Not a biggie at all. Now that I know this it makes sense, but it differs from other crafting so it might be confusing for new players. Bit the same with the mana-potion. In another thread it was suggested to change ok to use. That would make sense. 2) This is a bug I think. My archers were split

You can absolutely be proud on what you did here with the team. I joined the first beta and after having played around 100 hours of FE and FE:LH I was kinda underwhelmed at first. Thought the idea was really cool, but back then it looked a lot like FE:LH and of course the first beta was limited by just one sov. It really deserves some more attention than what it's getting right now. What really makes it stand out for me now is: - The lovely artwork on the create sover

Yeah, noticed the passive rivals too. They roam around but don't expand much. Think it's gotta do with the late change to actually present rivals in the game, but I'm hoping this can be improved upon before release. For the rest I agree with XWerewolfX, very polished game with some very fun mechanics.

It will work on an SSD without any problems. It really shouldn't make a difference, besides the fact that you're loading times will decrease by a fair amount. I'm running it on an SSD and it's working like a charm.

Thanks for the answers guys. Good to know edge scrolling is coming. Like I said, it seems to be low priority at the Stardock office, but it kinda annoys me since I always use edge scrolling in these kind of games. Good to know the Thalan research is right too (indeed intuitive trait). But for new players I really think they should update the UI to reflect the fact that the projects are free.

Edge scrolling is not working for me. This was true for a lot of Stardock titles in the past, but seeing there is an option for edge scrolling speed I should think it's possible. When I move my mouse cursor to the side of the screen nothing happens. Started a game with the Thalans. Are they supposed to get so many free research projects? I got 6 free projects or something. Thing is that the game shows '6 turns' to complete, but when I select that, the research is done the

I've been lucky enough to be in the closed AoW3 beta since last year, but I can tell you guys, this xpack is going to rock your socks off! It's huge and improves and expands on almost every aspect of the game. For me the best addition, besides the major new content of course, is the introduction of PBEM, which finally gives me a chance to play multiplayer games.

I've had the same thing happen a few months back. Derek took a look at my debugg.err and concluded it was a problem with an invalid item in a mod. I uninstalled the mod and the problem was solved. Are you using mods? Your save is probably doomed though. :(

Ahem, yep found the scrollbar, working as a charm! :) @StevenAus, I found a clay pit right next to my city so no problem at all. Only played for half an hour, but loving it. The new spell books are fun and there's so much to summon now. Great work once again abob, thanks very much! Will post more after I've played more. Sadly not that much time the upcoming days.
