You need to force buy those colonies asap, even if it puts you in debt or you have to cut spending to minimums. You need as many scouts as needed to find the good planets. On a huge world I work towards impulse drives so I can get places faster. Don't put too many colonists on each ship or you will drain your homeworld. Watch their morale once they colonize because if it's too low they'll die off. You need to get some morale boosts asap. Again, force buy if need be. Know when

Hehe, It's definately not my military. It's still early but I lead in that catagory and like I said, they're really close to being wiped out already. I know that the events are weighted differently but I am still on the good side of neutral. Bullying me would be suicide for them so they don't try that. They just hate me. I'm definately not complaining or calling this a ahem, bug. I'm playing sub normal iq guys and truthfully I've played humans who fixate on minor game events. T

1) I tried 800*600 today but no window. I am still in rhis mode as the game does look better to me like this. Maybe it's a placebo but it does look better :) 2) It's a laptop not a desktop and I've had bink problems with a lot ( but not all ) of games. Usually, and unfortunately, these problems kinda solve themselves. I know, I know but consider this. I tried the "non windowed" version of this game this morning and for once was able to see the opening video without a studder. T

Hey what's wrong with fowl?? After all Brad's the one who mentioned Boston Chicken erm I mean Boston Market. I'd like to say that I've been reading Brad's stuff for a long while and he is a major reason I am here now. Still, he's one of many and the entire team has handled itself well. I had those problems but I solved them. My newest one is that the game starts, with intro video, in a small window but once I pass that it's back to full screen mode. Works fine but not at all windowed. Any ideas????? BTW, all my video's skip to the point of uselessness which bothers me almost zero but since we're asking. Ok, I'm playing a small galaxy with all sub normal opponents ( I know, I'm a wimp ). I am trying to be a trading guy which isn't that good on a small world IMHO but is interesting. You're welcome CariElf. Truthfully I can't imagine ONE other company that wouldn't have at least mildly ticked me off by having something like this happen. That's why I had to post. It was really groundbreaking because not only wasn't I upset but no one else was either. Somebody had to point this out IMHO as it's pretty important. It speaks volumes for the company IMHO. ~SDC~
