Hello everyone and thanks again for joining our founders program. I'm looking forward to getting lots of great feedback from all of you. But I'll start with an easy question. What is your favorite mission? What is your least favorite mission?

This is amazing feedback and exactly why we love our founders so much. I'm going through everything now. Thank you so much for taking the time to share this with us. I'll answer one question quickly. We have 16 missions up until the day before the founders program started. I cut it to 12 just so we could focus on getting those tested and ready for you. I have the other 4 missions ready (they just need to be tested) and you will see them coming in the next week or two.
Ashes of the Singularity was a fun RTS game, made even better by the Escalation expansion that came out in November of 2016. The game focused on a large scale, and as I played I found myself wanting to watch the battles. There were thousands of ships, millions of smoke trails, explosions, and laser effects, all happening at once. That scope came at a cost. There was a lot to do: armies to order, regions to take, ba
Aberny is a colony set in the high arctic wastes of Centauri. The colonists have two Metal Refineries here and we will get free metal form them for as long as we can defend them. Paths here are winding and we are lucky to only be dealing with one entrance for enemies, but some locations may become useless if our enemies manage to destroy a metal refinery and switch targets. Before we start, I'm going to configure the Carpathia (or orbital warship) for the mission. I'm going heavy on o
No, the fix is specific to Admin costs during upgrade, which were being incorrectly calculated (not reducing the new admin cost by the old admin cost).
Thanks for this. I've reproduced it and I have a fix. It looks like this issue has been around for a long time. We should be able to get this fix into the next patch.
Hello, We have a small patch for you that improves the font display on different resolutions and two new maps. UI One of the main hardware barriers for Ashes was the 1080p requirement since the text displays did not properly function on resolutions below 1920 x 1080. While we definitely still recommend players use at least a 1080p display, we have made some changes to UI scaling and font system so that it will better viewable on different r
I'm so glad you guys are still enjoying this game. You made my day.

Yeah, I tried the crash and couldnt repro with the latest code.
I played a game with a ton of civs, researched to planetary invasion and then gifted it to everyone (made me feel a little dirty). And then watched them begin to kill each other. Civilizations were getting wiped, but I never got the ability to build another Computer Core, Central Bank or any other unique building. So I'm still not sure how to repro the issue.

We think this may be caused by window defender. Please check out this thread where we are discussing the issue: https://forums.galciv3.com/490829/page/1/#3727629
That usually means there is something wrong with the download. I typically see it when I'm on a branch that doesn't exist anymore. I would recommend making sure you aren't in any of the betas and then reverify your steam files.
Ive reproduced this, we are checking it out.
When I try this it opens up the xml file. Maybe you have xml files associated with IE? I used notepad++ to edit xml. You may want to try downloading that or associating xml file with normal notepad and see if it resolves your issue. Is anyone else seeing this?
I'm on 3.04, and I think the building of additional Central Bank (have not yet had the problem with Computer Core) is probably due to loading a saved game rather than a faction getting defeated. In my latest game I am able to build another Central Bank by turn 20. I have saved, quit the game, and reloaded. I have not seen any notifications of factions being destroyed.
I tried to save, quit and
I've fixed this in the 3.05 patch. Thanks for reporting it.
I wasnt able to reproduce this when i loaded your save. Is anyone else running into this?
Please let me know if anyone is seeing this after reverifying.
I assume they are using a windows emulator.
I wasn't able to reproduce this (the Yor's aid research seemed to work fine for me). Is anyone else seeing this issue?
Thanks for your feedback. sdRohan, the developers and myself were just discussing this issue and we are going to try to track it down. sdRohan posted some suggestions above. Please let us know if that works for you. Thank you all for reporting the issue.
