*** RELEASED 05/16/2019 *** Thank you all for your feedback. We are listening and have made some significant changes to the game based on it. Most notably we redid the entire game progression to be smoother. That requires redoing all the maps so we couldn't release new missions as they wouldn't fit in with the old system. The big change is that we will no longer tie unlocks to score. Instead new towers and orbital abilities will be unlocked by completing

Epicurus has already suffered an assault. The colonists set off a bomb that destroyed the invaders, and killed themselves as well. The colony is already on fire when we arrive and won't survive any sort of assault. It's going to be a long night.

Patch notes should be public. I have the latest ones posted here: https://forums.stardock.net/494618/page/1/#3747442 Let me know if you have any issues checking them out.
I've increased the amount you can zoom out on larger maps.
How about changing to "Salvage does not provide a score"? When we are playing Crazy difficulty, if there is no supply of metal by salvage, I think clear is quite difficult.
I'd rather make crazy a little easier than enforce this type of gameplay. I just don't think it's very fun to be scrapping and changing towers. But this is why scavenger modules now give metal based on the unit killed
I am glad you are enjoying the game, there is a lot more to come. But you get exactly what we are shooting for. Destruction and fun strategy that you can jump right into. Your feedback is always appreciated as we release new content. Steam reviews are also great as they help more people see and play the game.
Yeah the next update will kill that. It wasn't very fun to feel like you should have to salvage all your towers to maximize your score.
We released a new mission today, Gallehault. Gallehault is massive and combines a wide variety of threats, from a wide variety of directions. In Gallehault you will face massive swarms, air assaults, cruisers, healers, face units rushing your colony and waves targeting other sites. Gallehault starts you with two metal refineries and a fission reactor. But it's large map is going to make it difficult to defend all of them (I've never been able to defeat Gallehault with sacrificing at l
Mix it up! Both are appealing, sometimes you want a quick fight, sometimes you need to kill an hour.
I'm glad to hear you say that. The mission we are releasing today is a long battle. But the one we are preparing for release thursday is a quick (but tough) battle.
*** RELEASED 4/25/2019 *** Note: Updates will break saves. But campaign progression won't be lost (ie: you may need to restart a mission, but you won't need to restart the whole campaign or lose your unlocks). Features Added the Drone Bay- Tower that deploys drones that harass and attack enemies over a large range. Added the ability to use WASD for movement (this will disable tower hotkeys) Unlocked the Thurlos campaign missi
We unlocked a new mission today, Chariah. Chariah is a remote location, cold with winding paths through the mountains. It is the biggest map in the campaign so far (larger ones will come later) and offers long paths with plenty of great points to place defenses (as well as an enemy that is going to ignore those roads entirely, but we will get to that later. We have a Fission React
https://pastebin.com/brJ30f7f Note a whole lot in the runlog.txt that indicates what the error is so I didn't really bother posting it before. Its a bit odd you cant replicate it? I've done it with a few csv files in the "GameCore" directory and it pretty much crashes consistently. I'm using Excel 2016 so that could be a difference?
Sorry, bud. You gotta live with your terrible life decisions just like the rest of us.😘
Haha, so true.
Malden is the third mission of the Siege of Centauri campaign. It is the first mission to feature multiple entrances and a fission reactor that provides radioactives to power our orbital abilities. So right from the start I have to consider where my enemies will be coming from, and how to defend two positions. <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/6/33/633504/3b755f
I think I only pause at the beginning because the game doesn't give players enough time to survey the situation before mobs start pouring in. If, as Liquidaire suggested, the game was effectively paused until the first tower was placed, I don't think I'd ever change the speed.
Tomorrows update will make it so the waves dont strat until the player takes some action. Placing a tower, hitting rush or using an
1. The slow panning at the beginning is a bit annoying and sometimes it feels like the panning has acceleration and deceleration. This was removed from all missions but Limbo in yesterdays update. 2. Lack of voice acting, but I assume this'll be added in the future. Yeah, coming soon. 3. Archives are incomplete (I like the idea of it and the back stories for the
Great stuff, thank you!
*** Released 4/11/2019 *** Features Added Radioactives. Radioactives are used to power Orbitals. There are Fission Reactor's on the map that provide radioactives (your colony also supplies a slow trickle). You can upgrade your Reactors to increase the rate you get Radioactives. Some orbitals have a long cooldown (Orbital Strike), some have no cooldown as you can use them as long as you have radioactives to spend (Overcharge).
