Hi everyone. I just downloaded the .90 beta, and now everytime I try to run the game, I get a message that says this - PolMachine.exe - Unable to Locate Component This application has failed to start because d3d9.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem. I've uninstalled, then reinstalled the game about 4 times and I still get the same message.

Nono, it wasn't a scenario or anything like that, it was a normal game, which was what bummed me out, since I had gotten more points on that then I had on any previous games. I'll try it again today to see if it'll go through.

Heya. I just finished my first Altarian Prophecy game (That was a win, atleast) and tried to submit my score, but the when I clicked on 'Submit' it instantly took me to the main menu. Is submitting scores just not allowed in the beta and I looked over that somewhere, or is something else wrong? I've tried several times and each time the same thing happened.

I tried reloading it, and it seems to be working now.. And nah, we weren't allied or anything.. Little bastards had been Wary of me the whole game. :notsure: I think I should add that I was just trying to take out the ships in orbit, too. I did have some transports, but mainly I was just going for their defenders. [Message Edited]

I dunno if this is a bug or not, but it's still something that's really starting to annoy me. It's happened once or twice before, but this is the first game it's effected me critically. Anyway.. My problem is I can't attack anyone. I got a big group of ships ready, sent them out to the Yor's homeplanet (I'm at war with them), but instead of blowing them away like they should, they just sit there infront of the planet, and the game won't move onto the next turn until I click on them (Thu

Wait.. It actually -does- show up in my Metaverse thing. So I guess it really doesn't matter.. But still an odd bug you guys might wanna look into.

I tried to submit my new score (3400 points! Whoo.. Go me.) and I got this message; "Send Status 1 Error Status 0" Or something along those lines. (Sorry, I'm on Bennadryl and a little woozy at the moment.) Has anyone else had this problem?

XTC, They Might Be Giants, and Moxy Fruvous. No, they don't really go along with the game (Well, XTC occasionally does), but hey, they're my 3 fav. bands of all time, so.. Yeah.

I've been buttering up a minor race for a while with tons of gifts and stuff, and I still haven't managed to get to Close rating with 'em. So.. Yeah, can I ally with them, or is "Friendly" the closest I can get to them?

Yeah.. I have really good relationships with a race, and we both have the Alliance technology, so.. How the heck do I actually form an alliance with them? :sniff!:

Personally, I don't think this game completely dominates MOO3 in all aspects, but then again I'm one of those freaks who actually liked Moo3. Here are some things that annoy me so far about this game; Diplomacy=While it certainly is nice to not have people declare war on you for no reason, I don't like the limited choices. It's either Yes or No. Also, I don't like the Diplomacy screen itself; Somehow the picture of whatever other race simply nodding at me isn't too exciting.<br
