Yea im in the UK, and im getting a bit concerned now, many other got theres, and 3 weeks later im still waiting :( ~SDC~

My start consists of this:- Set spending to 100 Set military to 80 Set research to 20 you will then pump out a colony ship every 2 or 3 turns. By the time you are low on money you should have 15+ planets already, now level up spending, and increase research and look for civs to trade with ~SDC~

These guys are Right Badbones. Its VERY easy to colonise more, and faster than the AI once you get a hang of things. Follow what they are saying and soon you will wish the AI was faster in coloniseing and teching up ~SDC~

Maybe it would be useful if Allied civs did this to help defend each other, other than that it would be abused too much ~SDC~

How is winning this an accomplishment? They do well early on due to their extortion techniques, but once other civs ally against them they hardly ever remain powerful in my games. Ironically enough the Arceans are normally the best of the bunch in my games. ~SDC~

My general build order is this for planets Banking Soil Enhancement Habitat improvement Fusion Man.Center Ent.Network Economic Center Then i seperate according to what im planning, some become manufacturing worlds, some i make teleporters and stock markets and become money earners. BUT Trade will always be your biggest earner in the mid-late game..set up lots, and get those starbases along the routes,. ~SDC~

All effects are for all planets in that sector. Except Resources that effect all your empire. Culture also "spills out" from the sector you make them in, deminishing the further out you get from the oringinal sector ~SDC~

Yup, trades the way to go. I notice that once their economy is more than about 25% dependant on you, they suck up more :D ~SDC~

hehe funny. I can imagine why they didnt want that on their forum though :P Albeit the IGMOO forum is getting rediculous, they are mobbing anyone daring to point out a bug, or that the patch was just the work of the modders :P Maybe in May or june when that "real" patch is due out ill pick up a bargin bin copy of Moo3 again. Least selling mine on Ebay went towards my Gal Civ cost :D ~SDC~

AI being updated? in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

Go this from the front page. "Tomorrow (Tuesday) we'll be releasing the stand alone version of GalCiv 1.02. We expect to update Stardock Central today with an updated version of GalCiv that has some tweaks to AI strategies, fixes a bug with the new slider update feature in the trade screen, and a few other glitches we've found over the past week or so." Anyone know how the AI's strategies are being updated? Hope it recognises culture bombs more, and it better militarily! <

lol oh man. 1. Photons exist in the real world too not just the trekkie one 2. Teleporters are in almost all the sci fi films i watched. 3. Phasers are also not just limited to S.trek I dont think you can sue for making an obscure reference to a particular episode :P hmm maybe in america youl could, i hear they sue anyone for anything there ~SDC~

Norin, helps that one of your members gets 11,000 scores doesnt it ;) your score aint that bad. We are coming :D the mass of rabble will bring down your few guys...eventually :D Ash, i find it hard to talk to someone with so few medals :D Im an elitist at heart LOL
