GS is mostly a console store now. Wally-mart and BB have a far wider selection without clueless sales people pestering you.
Congrats.
I was thinking of getting this through a store, and was wondering if I could activate it on Impulse and never need the DvD?

Your Sovereign can get married by recruting a Champion of the opposite sex, selecting him/her and click on the button with a Ring in the options bar. You may need to kill some
I just read this in the "Elemental for Dummies", and thought others might find it humorous too. [quote] How do I get divorced? Your Sovereign can get “divorced” by sending the spouse, without any equipment or bodyguards, to the nearest and strongest monster or enemy army available. Seriously. How do I get rid of my dead spouse in the Dinasty screen? You cannot. It stays there as a reminder o
I came here to investigate whether to buy the game, and I admit to being disappointed with what I read. I expected better from StarDock, especially concerning the AI.

This sounds so disappointing.
Does anyone know how long the campaign is and how many missions/tasks?

I think it's fairly obvious that Frogboy is talking about the connotative reference of being compared to 911 conspiracy theorists & holocaust deniers.
I simplify it down to one question. Do you think humans can pollute without there being some sort of adverse ramifications? For me, it's a pretty simple answer and conclusion, and not about which corp is funding which project.
I installed StarDock, and updated GalCiv with it. I don't see a version number anywhere, and I would like to know if it was successful updating or not. Not sure if it put it in the correct path.
Perhaps directX games are different in that they do not create palettes. I would have thought thatI could run a 16-bit color application with my desktop set to 32-bit color.
Why does the desktop have to be in 16-bit mode?
I just switched over to a LCD monitor, and it really needs to run at 1280x1024 for things to look decent. So before I can download/buy the game, I would like to know first if the screen reolution can run at 1280x1024.
