This could be from the skin not being complete. Make sure all the 'parts' of the logon have been done.
Excellent points, feline
It could probably ease the transition if the symbols on the buttons are very intuitive, so the functions are very obvious. The habit of always clicking the middle button to maximize, etc. would be a little hard to overcome but not insurmountable. [Message Edited]
I also have to agree with Lady A. In so far as a lot of comments/statements that are not 'shiningly positive' tend to get mobbed a lot of the time with very negative and provocative rebukes or name calling, often from some of the regular posters here.I'm not talking about the moronic 'this sux' kind, but the general 'hmm, I don't really like this' kind. I feel these types of rebukes are often as rude as the original 'that sux' poster. I think that kind of response inhibits any real feedback that

Hmm, I can't get my site theme to stick either :-\
I just went to 'Edit Account' to change my page to show Beatnik skins and, when I hit update, Beatnik shows on the left in my list but when I go anywhere else or open and close my browser, it's not there anymore. I tend to prefer the warmer, earthy colors. All things else being equal (usability, clarity, etc), blue is one of my least favorites.
