When you restored the default logon, did you verify that it was your current logon. ie: Did you log off and on to see if the original logon was back?

I think you have to reset the default logon in Logon Studio before you uninstall
This would save dubious rip reports and other abuse complaints from becoming too public. how about a 'Report Rip' link maybe in 'Resources' on the left where people could report a suspected rip. A tacky thread (not sure if that's what it's called) could be posted in the 'General' forum to report when these were sucessfully removed, updates, etc

paxx, you may be right. It would be nice if the 'sense of community' would be enough to encourage more people to help.
paxx, It seems to me there are quite a few people here that try to help out when someone posts a question. I usually try to, even though I don't have near the knowledge a lot of folks here have. I suspect those 'helpers' would go to the help category to see what is being asked/posted. If it wasn't for those 'helpers', I would still be stuck on a lot of things!
I like the idea. For the most part, I stick to the skinning related threads and also try to help out when I can. Separate threads would make it a lot easier to stick to the section one is interested in.
I just uploaded one, treetog. It's my first but I'm pretty sure I got everything skinned. I'm pretty meticulous but if I did miss something, hopefully I can get some advice from experienced logon skinners on what to look for.

What program are you using to recolor the tga? Maybe the program is not saving the alpha channel?

The present categories that are available when a skin is uploaded don't seem very useful to me. I mean really, food? Has anyone ever made a skin that was in the food category? Now watch there be a ton of them Different color categories would IMO be more useful than some of the present choices.
Thanks, Hippy. I've never tried to change them but saw the place to do it. Hmm, I wonder if there are other things in SkinStudio that are 'there' but have no effect. A little experimentation is in order.

In SkinStudio try this: Desktop>Start Panel>Programs List/Places List>>Text Settings>Font. There are four listings for fonts - Normal, Normal(WB 3), Focus, Hover(WB3)
