Oh, and Harel, I'm always game for any mission, as long as it's not suicidal.
Glad to hear it, pal. We're set on five.

About my current position and gaming frequency - I think it should be fair I'll tell you all. Frankly, I reached a position where I can finish a gig-maso in about 5-6 hours. I preety much "nailed" a system. The problem is this crappy divider. New games only give me something like 10k points, and quite frankly I've played Galciv so often now that playing a game every day (or even every few days) is tiring to me. I'm also quite busy. Since 10k will hardy move me up in the score (I need so
Sure thing Quack. After mine is posted I'm leaving town for a bit...
But... but... we have to go after MM77 choclate! Are you abandoning you're new agent pal?
Hurley is quite right. I'm the only one who should be slapping here. Weeee!
Too much text... brain boggles down... argument evaporating... knows Sirian is wrong but can't bring himself to prove it... too much energy... must speak like this... now going away... away... away...
Actually, it is because MM77 said that I need balls to go after him. So now Q gave me my balls. :-)
The tales of the agent - part 7 Or - how I wrote another story in jest, so please don't sue us It was night. The agent's new team of heroes was inside, packing for Wombat first official mission. The agent did not show it, but he was quite excited. It seems Wombat was after the agent's old empire, which is quite enjoyable. The bureaucracy, the cavity search... well, the cavity searches weren't THAT bad. "That was a lovely bit of Elfwine. Thank you Sauron". <b
You'd have done the same thing I did, Jaws if he'd said the same cracks about Anzac. Regretable, that you have chosen to defend someone in your empire rather than what's right. This after he obviously agreed he'd been wrong two posts before and apologized.BTW Apology accepted. I apologize for being too harsh. So get the hell off your moral high horse Jaws. You sound more than a tad hypocritical.
People, PLEASE, let's just relax, sheesh. We just managed to end one dispute,
Peace. I promise I will stop drop missiles on the west bank. Oh, sorry, that's another truce. Arrr. Sure. Peace, dude. Long live and prosper, and so on. One day I'll even write a short story about this glorious struggle between the MM77 and the rogue agent. [Message Edited]
.... [blink, blink] I said, "Stop that. It's silly". It's a monty python reference, and one that was very apt for the sitution there. http://www.pollenstudio.co.uk/filez/itssilly.wav Does that clarify things?
Yes. Give them +100% diplo if you need to, but keep the trade mechanics as they were. I understand the rational behind this (make it more difficult for the player to sell useless techs to the AI), but this can be solved in a different manner. The AI's should adapt how much money they are willing to give by their total economy (so that minors will give you less money, because they have less), and make the AI estimate certain techs less (like stellar catagrophy). Right now it feels broken
MM77, I thought we had a little dicussion on being civil...
Come on guys.. I've tried to change the subject...
Quite right. I didn't congrat you yet on your move to the ring empire. I hope you will find a more stable place for you now. You also keep harvesting those Maso-Gig quite effiecently. Well done.
You're still keeping this up, MM77. I don't know why. You're behaviour is not acceptable. No one here is trying to fuel hard feelings. I am NOT trying to attack you. Simply understand this - you were request to tone down your comments because you were rude an impolite. Simple enough. You have no right, moral or otherwise, to tell me or anyone else where to post. It's quite simple. If you don't want to post here, that's your decision. No one tells you not to post, we just ask you to be c
I played one of the earliest versions, and I found the game to be quite excellent even then. IMO it wasn't buggie, and anything since then to now has been a steady improvement. I am really impressed with stardock and I don't think we can expect anything from them. Maybe I say that because I'm so dishearted by the industry - being a game journalist I saw too many games that had far less support. Regardless, I think GalCiv is solid, interesting and effiecent. I would like to see more cont
In addition, seems like the the tech-sell nerf have been relaxed for the Alexians in 1.11. I have been able to sell the Alexians tech for big bucks in my current game. However, from this single experience, it seems that they only buy in cash if they have >1000bcs in their bank.
Which, IMO, should be fixed for all races, minor and major. There is no reason why an empire (even a minor one) that has money surplus will not be willing to pay for tech, ships, systems, etc. I th
MM77, you're starting to annoy me in earnest. You are rude and impolite, and people here already warned you here about that. You are not "kept out" of this thread because of what you say - you are kept out because of how you say it. If you start to behave, you are more then welcome here. Until then, I suggest you don't make comments about who should be where. Keep a civil tongue and behave. [Message Edited]
Modules are built on star-bases. Send a constructor to an existing star-base to open up a menu with all the modules you know how to build. As the game progress you will be able to build additional, more powerful modules on your star-bases, often enough with prerequisite to existing, more simple modules.
You wrote a very long essay, Sirian, and I agree with you on several points. There should certainly be more distinction between the two sides, and no side should be able to acquire the techs of the other side. I also agree wity you that the fact you need to adapt your ideology to the political structure in every game is also somewhat misrepresentative. I am not sure I would do it differently - after all, it makes sense to adapt your political decision according to the political map of
Harel Eilam , YOU ARE NO LONGER WELCOMED HERE, PLEASE DO NOT POST IN THIS THREAD AGAIN.
You're still being silly. Stop it. And now for something completely different... To Pontius - may I request you read my message to you in the Special Forces thread? I would be saddened to see you thinking of me as a troll. I am not fond of trolls. Orcs are ok, but trolls just turn to stone and crowd the space... arrr.... this didn't come out as I intended
He's made cracks on Delta force, all sorts of other things. Just a school boy sissy hiding behind his puter that can do nothing to elevate himself but berate others
:notsure: Sorry you feel that way, Pontius. My "cracks", as you call them on Delta Force for the sole reason to lighten the mode back in the icon discussion, as I think it is silly not to use a military unit icon just because it's a "badge of honor". I can say without any problem on my part you can
Stop that. It's silly.
There are not supposed to be individual planet sliders. This is not a bug, it's a design decision, and a darn good one. It streamlines the game and make it more fast-paced. A much better approach to macro-management then MOO3. You just want to stir up trouble again, Droid. I remember you. GalCiv is done. It's an excellent, elegent and effiecent game. It does not need a lot more work - it needs a few more twicks and possibly more content in an expansion (like more tech, races, etc.). The
MM, maybe a little more playing, a little less rambling?
Stop that. That's silly.
