Citizens of the galaxy, has this ever happened to you?! (arrr, it's Yom Kipur and I'm bored, so forgive the theatrics. The point I have to make is preety important). Yes, you're right Bluesteel, the "what not" is not supposed to be there. Just criminals. Theoden - well, the TV stations (the local ones, at least) do shut down by themselves. The rest of the TV channels (satellites and cabel) still transmit, but that is mostly a few news network and the likes. Nothing intersting. I have a rather strange way to handle the Star Base problem, but I think it can work. In my opinion, and most of everyone else here it seems, excessive star-base use it too frequent. People over-build them to push back on culture, increase production or trade. I would limit star-base in a totally different way - make them dependant on resources. I might not be calculating properly, but I believe I found a bug - I chose the "green thumb" advantage, which means my planets get a +% to their original quality. Certain random events, as you know, also allow me to get +% to the planet quality. Now, sometime those two bonuses (both happen at the colonization of a new planet) do not cumlative.
