The tales of the agent - part 4, continued. Or - how I finally reached Minis Tirith. "Now remember to tell all your friends about Sauron inn! That's Sauron, not Saruman." "There is a Saruman bed & breakfast too?" "Yes. That foolish one has been a thorn at my side for far too long. But he showed him! I've started putting a mint on the pillow of any visitor. We're the number one choice for any respetable orc." The agent assured him that the mint

Brad, can we hope to see some new information about the new races, maybe some sort of new background story, prior to release? In addition, right now the five races align perfectly with the five rankings of ideology (pure good, chaotic good, etc.). Can we expect to see two new levels of ideology, one good/one evil or two neutral races?
Calling all agents! Report back to European empire update immmidiately!
But I have to continue the story! The agent must find the criminal Koala! Justice must be served! And beef pies, they also must be served! And pickles! And beer! arrrr... The european empire thread, you say?

The tales of the agent - a visit to Moria-7b The problem with transporters, the agent concluded, is that they are so darn inaccurate. Give him an old trusty shuttle everyday. But no, the grand and wise lord G-force has decided that as a modernazation action they are going to replace all the shuttles bays with extra rooms and transporters. This makes perfect european since. Modernize the one thing you don't need to, instead of doing something useful like sacking half the Earth bur

The tales of the agent, part 3 - The search for Koala It has been days since the agent last heard any reports of the notorious criminal Killa Koala. Tales of this criminal and his faint aroma of herb beer has spread across the galaxy, and beyond. Where, indeed, is he hiding? There are worse planets then Brutopia, the agent knew, and he certainly been to a few. The planet of New Jeresy comes to mind. But so few planets parade their decedance as Brutopia. Why has Koala cho

The tasks of the agent - part 2. The agent's ship engines were straining again. It was just two days since he left to roam the milky way galaxy for the terrorist known as Koala, last smelt of freshly brewed beer. In their last encounter the agent tossed Koala into a large pot of fresh goldstar beer, mixed with jaunty herbs according to bluesteel's reciepe. However, the agent has been proved careless for the first time - he did not check to see his victim perished, a mistake that so far

Well, Bluesteel ol' pal, I can tell you this - no one jumped ship from old Europe. The new world may rise in capitalistic glory and crush down by a puny arab state, the remote world may have hopping rodents and a reasonable beer, but Europe endures. No one left, and because of that we are the fastest growing empire in the metaverse. If you're truly tired of empire-hoping, come and rest a while. I could even cook you a koala as a welcome-home present.

A detour - a side plot to killa-koala quest The agent eyed the meter on his spaceship dashboard warily. It was pointing to 150% engine efficency, very deep into the red zone. In fact, it was the maximum setting. The agent could imagine how the little needle strive to go beyond 150%, how it long for higher settings to exist so it could point to them and warn of the impending doom. The engineers never considered an engine could be so tweaked. Verily, Lord Orpon's scientists did their job

I've finished my first maso-gig on 1.11 and already working on the next. The only problem so far seems to be the minors grab quite a few systems early on. On my last game the Torians conquered nearly everyone because they had a huge cluster of stars, but everyone surrendered to me so I've managed to build up and eventually terror-star alpha-strike them. My first pure 60k result (the others were 59-59.5k).

To Bluesteel, after reading this long and serious debate about Cotal desertion, and her ditching you all out in the cold... and out of sheer respect to ANZAC and all you swell guys... all I can say is... DIE, YOU GIANT HOPPING RODENTS! :D :D :D :D Seriously, dudes, just relax. Everything is cool. It's just a game. Bluesteel, you should admire Cotal. She proved women can do more then just cook and serve on men night and day (grin). To Cotal - relax. For my
Yes, thanks for the clarification. I never knew there were so many atheists in Israel. It must be an interesting place to live. I know that the only thing the US Press tells us is bombs go off there everyday, but I've heard that that's not exactly the truth. I've heard it's a very beautiful place. I think I'd actually like to visit there sometime.
It is preety interesting, yes. Bombs don't go off here everyday, and while it is disconcerting car accidents, cancer, air
There are two solutions to your problem.Come and join us. Then you would have plenty of company.
It's so very tempting to move to an empire where there are actually two lovely gamers waiting for me [grin], but I can't possibly have anything to do with a bunch of criminals and misfits. Teehee. Seriously, empire defecting is not cool. All this jumping willy-nilly... But your second option may be more true then you think. I might have refined my playing sty

Thanks everyone. I've slipped a few ranks, but my latest game moved me up to 15. Basically, I've reached - kinda - Cotal level. Not that anyone can ever think about comparing to her highness, the most holy of gamers in the world, but you get the point. I can finish a gig-maso in 5-6 hours now. The problem is I don't HAVE 5-6 hours every day. I'm trying to do whatever I can because, quite frankly, I won't be beaten by australians. But I won't be able to keep this up for long. So
