Another bug, which exists in current main build as well as opt-in, is that you can't always select positions you want for yourself on the map. For example position 3 won't show up even though no one has taken it, and sometimes it gives you the options of positions 1 and 3 say, even when those are occupied.

Also sometimes get black or fuzzy squares in certain parts of the screen no matter what the graphics are on the screen at the time. But these lighting glitches are the most common.
I am also Waiting for an automatic matchmaking for medium, large, and epic maps.
I think you will be waiting a long time, you would need many many times the current MP community to support that. Not directly relevant but it is a shame more of the top ranked players don't to custom games, but for a few exceptions they mostly just do 1v1.
seem a better idea is to have a expansion pack that contains everything released so far for $5 or so and call it a player reward.
Far too soon, people payed full price only a week ago for the last DLC. Drop off is expected over the summer in most games. The Expansion will be the next thing which will bring a major boost I think. Each major patch brings the numbers back up a bit too, so could happen again with 1.3.
(also, note that in the other thread, you just told me that you didn't need to activate the abilities...) https://forums.ashesofthesingularity.com/478806/page/1/#3644429
I answered that before I saw your query in this thread. I answered interpreting your question as best I could, at that time I did not anticipate someone would not realise the heal was a one off use for that upgrade
When you press the heal all ability it activates it there and then. It is a one off and you sacrifice the permanent upgrades of the other two upgrade branches to do it.
Once you have made the initial upgrade choice it is automatic.

After the game is finished if you look at the global chat window it will be labeled, "post-match chat" or something like that, so they should see a message in there if they did not quit the game outright. Though perhaps it should be accompanied by a slight sound to know they said something as you can miss it.
You can see those keyboard shortcuts when in-game just hit Esc and click Controls. I agree we need a land one, and various other finer controls like Ctrl Z to select all of the same type on screen of the unit currently selected, like in TA, and more beyond that. But it has been brought up many times so won't go into them here. I'm hoping this is an area which gets a lot of improvement in version 1.5
Looking at the ranked table, the top half is more split between the two factions but from around rank 7 onwards PHC is indeed far more common. Probably people have come from the campaign and are more familiar with the faction. Also I think people prefer ballistic weapons and can relate to the units more as they are more like current tech than the Substrate. Even when Sub were clearly the more powerful faction, balance wise, the PHC were still more popular, so I don't think that effects fa

My case, however, is much worse - DLCs except Overlord aren't showing up in the library or game properties, and is not present in the game.
Right now the plan is to keep it 6 player for now for MP while we privately increase it and test it. Right now, we are not satisfied with the stability of Multiplayer as is and are still trying to investigate the issue. The current consensus is that Steamworks isn't used to the amount of data we flood their pipe with so we either have to work around that or we have to decrease the amount of data we're sending. double post sorry
It certainly does add micro, having to hover over it to see if you need to activate it etc., and were it gone I wouldn't miss it at all. But you would indeed have to do something beyond just removing it as the Dreadnoughts would likely be too weak otherwise. Anything more than a minor buff would seem to have balancing and potential knock on issues, it would have to be thought through carefully. The problem with any kind of significant healing mechanic though, is that you think you can tak

It is the map DLC which came out today. Even if someone does not own it they get it on their system so as not to divide the community; anyone can still join anyone's game, regardless of whether they own the DLC or not. Just hosted a couple of games with the new maps, I don't think the others had bought the DLC, so lucky for them :)
Cool. I thought you were aiming for 12, but 14 will do ;) I have to say that looks like one of the old school maps from the games early days when the maps had too many nodes to be fun to manage or feel valuable. With a few odd starting positions in there I guess it is map designed for less players being used to test things out. Stripping away 40% of the nodes would make it a lot better, perhaps. Either this is old, or black and white faction colours are back...really really ho
I agree, something like that would be very useful. And yeah, those reviews are bad, though their ilk is sadly not uncommon.
I thought I was odd thinking it was beautiful, glad I'm not the only one :) I think the rectangles with 01 in are the armies or Ctrl groups, with the number being the control group number. Potentially it could be the number of Dreadnoughts in the force I guess. It looks place holder at the moment to me as the army size indicators (green dots within the red rectangle I'd speculate) are all the same. Looks really nice though, clean and informative design.

Pushes your metacritic to 70% which is an improvement. That appalling 40% by Gamespot review hurt you on there.
Is there a new roadmap published somewhere? Or are you just commenting based on snippets elsewhere?
Explosions have been asked about and answered by a Dev a couple of times now elsewhere. The unit ruins and reclaims used to be on the game's roadmap, though it is no longer listed there. That doesn't mean it won't come though as they have changed things as priorities change. The r
