According to the road map on the Steam forum the Escalation Expansion is going to be $9.99 for people who already own the game, while it is listed at $19.99 above. Can you confirm which one is correct? Edit: If the price is now $9.99 now then fantastic...if someone missed the 1 off the front by mistake then I suggest you get onto it very quickly before it becomes the expected price. Already a thread about it on Steam.

For sure, wasn't trying to take anything away from all your findings. Just think they might want to package it differently for future players.
The tutorial needs a lot of work as it misses a great deal of things. It was made during Early Alpha before the campaign was available. The beginning of the campaign is very tutorial like. Some people play the tutorial, get bored, review down the game and get a refund. With the future expansion and 2nd campaign with the substrate, if I were a dev, I would seriously think about scrapping the tutorial and instead add missions or expand current Episode 1 missions to become a full tutoria
there are some noobies that complains about refinery but that is in team games and I really think they dont get substrate and what quanta can do for their economy.
Most people in that thread were not "noobies" as you dismissively label people who disagree with you. It is you who no not get infinite resource increase vs finite and inefficient temporary resource increase. Yes it was a discussion about big team games
As you very correctly said, Horses and carts. China is well versed in this kind of thing. With several industries they invite foreign companies into the country with some form of joint venture. Learn and copy everything they can from them and then block/hinder them so the huge market they thought they were cracking gets suddenly a lot more constricted. You say Apple made that major investment, time will tell whether it pays off or not.
I would like all the options like ctrl Z, Ctrl L etc. as well, they can be so useful. In the meantime if you hit F3 it will select all air units on the screen. Useful for separating them out from your armies.
You could use the Army re-enforcement mechanic perhaps, though I realise that is a little different to what you would like.
Good feedback

I sympathise with you, too many people take matches too seriously online, though fortunately I've not suffered it in Ashes. Culture now seems to accept or look lightly upon people insulting others, without realising what they are really saying, how it reflects on them, or the weight of the slur and how it may affect the other person. LoveIsAll makes good suggestions.
I guess you are running the game from a shortcut? If you click on play from within your Steam library it should give you two options, one being DX12. Assuming your playing on Windows 10.
It is very buggy, but I've heard it is more stable under DX11 so best to use that if you aren't currently.
An old bug I'm afraid, I didn't realise they hadn't fixed it.
In my opinion such things should not be random in order to use them. There could be a weather orbital in order to set or remove weather conditions. Maybe you could slowdown an nearing opponent you had scouted. Or you are able to remove an effect in an area with the orbital.
I like it.
I thought more of static weather effects like storms which block certain areas f
hm, from a lore perspective this coul be hard to argue since every single unit is hovering or flying. Most of the units are quite slow already, further debuffs on that would make armies a fest for bombers! [e digicons]:D[/e]
They can write the lore as they see fit ;) (and they will have to for Navy) As the units can't actually fly you could argue that they are in fact pushing off the ground rather than just floa
But what I get from your post is that there are no unbalanced strategies that exist right now and that you can always find a game?
Everyone seems to have answered this already :) Balancing is an on-going thing, especially as we have had some new units and a new building for free with some of the patches. The devs are active on acting on imbalances so no glaring issues last too long. As mentioned by Das 1v1 are e
It is possible you have mistaken bombers for fighters in whatever video your saw. Fighters were accidentally allowed to shoot land units with their air to air weapon and it was very powerful. It was seen as an exploit by some hence the conversation you saw. A patch fixed it. Perhaps it was really bombers but that would surprise me. I am pretty active playing multiplayer and no one has tried something like that in a long long time. And bombers are not OP. The MP

Two things changed during the last games: ->a micro patch ->cpu frequenz (4.4 -> 4.3)GHz
The Devs have said some are suffering from a problem, and while it is rare, it happens a lot to the people unfortunate enough to be suffering from it. You clearly do not fall in to that category but it would be erroneo
Wow, ok, I just noticed the problem with getting more dreadnoughts to join an army. I had a 2nd and 3rd dread selected and hit the combine army button and nothing happened. I was able to repeat the cntl-number thing to add the other dreads to the control group, but I still don't know if they ever are really included in the army itself. Is this a bug? Or is it considered a feature?
By design only one Dre
Sounds like a decent idea. It would also visually break up the terrain if you had marshes, swamps, geysers, etc. which could be used to slow down travel. Then you'd have to think about things like the slower but shorter route vs faster and longer. Units already move pretty slow so could be very frustrating for some :).
Freezes for me too. I bought the game today and it's already frozen on me like this 3 times. It is literally unplayable. It has been a LONG time (years) since I've played a game with game breaking bugs like this. None of my other games mess up, and my computer surpasses the recommended requirements of the game (I'm a computer tech by trade so I know how to read the requirements and understand them). &nbs

[e digicons]:'([/e]
If you enjoy doing it you could finish it and show us. Might give the Devs an idea or two :). Being standalone this will have its own Steam store page. It makes me wonder if you will increase the minimum and recommended specs? Perhaps RAM to 8GB for minimum and a 6 core CPU for recommended?
Well, that is quite the cool addition, no doubt. I propose a new price option though, $39.99 new (includes base Ashes and the above), $19.99 upgrade for people who have Ashes (Free for Founder Lifetime edition), $14.99 for Basic Founder [e digicons][/e] The only sad part of reading this is that replays aren't coming till then. Is this under NDA? Thank you for

I personally don't think people should be able to give reviews if they have played less than 2 hours of a game. I like the write up. Steam becoming resistant to Devs selling the game directly from their own website and not via Steam is a bit concerning. I like the suggestions regarding EA but I would be surprised if any of them come any time soon. Stopping refunds in early access, that is a bold one and would certainly scare off casual players who wouldn't have given t
